First kwara, then Edo, reduced work time, meaning less productivity however, this is the first time am seeing less production and more money. This shows that everyone above 21 years can be paid 50k without doing any work.

That is an innovative and smart temporary solution.

It's not perfect, buy in theory, a N40k 3 day week, is the equivalent of a N66k 5 day week.

I commend the Governor for thinking outside the box.

I also believe working Monday to Fridays is a relic from colonial times. It doesn't have to be so.

In State civil service, Friday is mostly a half-day anyway. All States should experiment with a permanent four-day week. Civil Servants can use the extra free day to do things to bolster their income, or just relax if they want.

Nigerian situation is very terrible. For God sake this money belong to the masses...our leaders are just steward ...they only help to manage the resources entrusted in there care .. why should anyone praise them for spending resources of the masses on the masses ? I can only praise them if they are using there personal money to pay . We need to grow up in this country
