A group of NATO countries may want to send troops to Ukraine if member states, including the United States, do not provide Kyiv with real security guarantees at the alliance summit in Vilnius.
This was stated by former NATO Secretary General Anders Rasmussen, reports The Guardian.

“Rasmussen made his remark as current NATO head Jens Stoltenberg said that the issue of security guarantees would be on the agenda in Vilnius, but added that NATO – in accordance with Article 5 of the Washington Treaty – provides full security guarantees only to full members,” - writes the publication.

NATO members especially from UK, USA and Poland are already in Ukraine as foreign fighters.

Unless USA is ready to sacrifice NY and Washington for Ukraine then no NATO troops will be in Ukraine officially like they did in Libya and Syria.

As long as no NATO country is attacked which Putin won't even try it even in its dreams, no NATO operation will be required in Ukraine, and besides the Ukrainian people has shown times and times That they are capable of doing the job. With the right weapons and funding they are capable..
