I live in southern Kaduna and schooling in Zaria ( northern Kaduna)

Europe and America began to progress when they adopted critical thinking in their christianity. They didn't make leaps in progress when they were just fanatics.

There was first the Renaissance (combination of christian ethos and Greek philosophy), then the Reformation of the Catholic church, and finally the so called enlightenment (in England with Christian deism in 17th century as well as so called humanism/agnosticism in France).

England had their best scientists and thinkers during this period of free thinking guided by staunch Christian ethos.
