World Corruption Headquarters Nigeria Has Not Held Any Leader Accountable by swaggerjack(op):
World corruption headquarters Nigeria has not held any leader accountable for the lootacracy masked as military and civilian rule since 1960.

Despite the country experiencing the greatest theft and self sabotage of any nation in the world, no one has been brought to book for turning the nation to the laughing stock of the world and poverty capital.

Every 4- 8 years after change of leadership. The same cycle repeats itself in the world headquarters of corruption.

Massive looting of state treasury, official cars and government equipment before handover to the next government. And no single person is held acountable ro charged to court.

It's not good for Nigerians to always leave their destiny to chance. They sit down look as Jonathan and his cronies loot billions of dollars, sit down look as Buhari and his people squander billions of dollars, now they are planning to sit down look as Tinubu rule them and hope he will not do the same thing Jonathan and Buhari did

The reason holding leaders accountable has always fail in Nigeria is because of the federal system of government that we practice, whereby the majority of the country's resources is in the hands of the federal government.

This makes it difficult for the citizens to demand accountability from the government, becaus the local government will pass the blame to the state government and the state government will pass the blame to the federal government.

Meanwhile the federal government that holds most of the resources is furthest from the people, making it impossible for the people to hold them responsible.

The people can now only rely on groups like SERAP and others to demand accountability from the federal government while themselves are unable to act.

If majority of power and resources is in the hands of the state and local government that are closer to the people, it will be easier for them to hold the government accountable.

As for prosecution of past thieves and looters of state resources, it usually fail because the government in power that controls the anti graft agencies are also corrupt.

Even if said individuals are charged to court by the anti graft agencies, the judiciary that is under the control of the executive arm of government will not sentence said individual.

So you can't count on the anti graft agencies that are under the executive, neither can you count on the judiciary that are easily bribed to prosecute looters.

No way out. Justice is for sale and that is why country will continue to be poverty capital and failed state. Unless 99% of public officials and civil servants are prosecuted and jailed.

You just see a comment online and you tag it as nonsense and walk away without bothering to state why, which will lead to intelligent discussion between us.

And whichever of us is the one that is wrong I will end up learning, other members and guests will also learn.

It is because majority of Nigerians are as mentally lazy as you that the country is as backward as it currently is.

Who will jail them?
The same corruption official that will be found accountable, the next thing is to do road in one stupid deserted village and next thing you will see the gullible citizens sing praises for him.
Health care -zero
Infrastructures -zero
Education - zero open zero
Employment - so help me God
Basic living - zero
Social security -oyo
Everything that has to do with progress as a country -ZERO
BUT when a corrupt politician buys Ferrari or houses in UK and other countries, or build refineries In another man's land, you will see the same stupid citizens praising him.
Country where the security agencies are now errand boys to the government.
I do not blame politicians for the way the country and citizens are suffering, this is the strategy they have been using since time memorial. The citizens on the other hand is yet to realize that the politicians are using their dumbness to their own gain.

Video Of Over 40 Exotic Cars Recovered From Ex-Gov Bello Matawalle who EFCC is accusing of looting N70 billion.

As long as Nigeria judges are for sale and we dont hold leaders accountable they will engage in primitve looting.
