TokunboCarsOnly:Another MUMU seeking attention,Mr dog eater and houseboy worker,I am from the south-south and I will never ever identify with the IGBO ethnic tribe. I have my own identity (URHOBO) and I will never ever trade it for any tribe on earth so you and your "hate filled victim calling people" can go and DIE. |

Blazebond:So, don't! I'm fine with that. Enough is enough. You want to stay divided with your neighbours while being absolutely taken advantage of by Fulanis? Be my guest. Y'all make it sound as if people are asking you yo become a different tribe. As if you're being asked to abandon your tribe. Not knowing that they are simply saying that neighbours should have a united front against distant enemies because we share borders and history. |

U guys from the Core east can start the healing process from Monday and Tuesday this week by showing love to your junior brother and partner in south south. Ordinary SP in the N.Assembly drafted by the Apc to go to south South has made ur political class to throw caution in the wind, make unnecessary tantrums and display bellicose bile,as if south south people are nonetity in the project Nigeria and Lower Niger interest. If truly, the east consider South South has their maternal blood , they should accord Mr Akpabio the respect to emerge as the SP of the 10th Assembly and in the future Assembly 11,12,13,14th, the law of reciprocity will definitely come in handy when the core East need such support . Let's us walk the talk |

starstaz:You’re being selective in your assertion! The Igbo have supported the so called south-south more than the reverse is the case….even to their own political loss! Of the three major ethnicities (i’m told there are three, even though we all know this is a lie two of those three like regurgitating), Ndigbo/south-east has supported the south-south politically the most, while the other two have connived and schemed against the south-south politically and economically! The Igbo/south-east last had one of their own hold executive power in 1966! Since then it’s been largely passed between the other two, and as i implied earlier, even the little chance the south-south had to hold executive power and serve two terms was frustrated and sabotaged by the other two who, after wickedly and greedily conniving yet again to ‘grab’ power, now want everyone to believe they, more than the Igbo, have the best interests of the south-south at heart! Given the aforementioned, why should the Igbo/south-east support Akpabio for senate president when they have two of their own in contention! Your wicked stand on the issue shows disdain and contempt for the Igbo, and it proves sceptics right that the aim of some of you from the core north and south-west is to see the total subjugation of the Igbo and reduce them to political and economic irrelevance in your Nigeria! You want to finish that thing you started in 1966 and didn’t quite finish in 1970! |

You want us to be one with people that did this to my ancestors? You want us to be one with people that have vehemently refused to apologize for almost wiping us out because we wanted to stay in Nigeria? God will punish you.

frank14011991:Again This is the issue I'm not even igbo but Edo boy but i have to say this all the time because i support Obi Anybody supporting Obi is automatically an igbo person to u people The comment I even replied to, the guy said Atiku won 2 states in the South South and Tinubu won 1. I replied him by saying Tinubu didn't win any state from the South South Even on INEC IREV Obi won the disputed rivers state. How u guys reason really baffle me Everytime igbos this, igbos that..... Edo, ikwere, ika, ishekiri, urhobo etc...... as u mentioned u support Obi, u are automatically tagged igbo This Igbophobia will definitely consume many of u because it's looking more likely that igbos are the target |

LOVEALAIGBO:Nice job sir. From your name, your Love for the interest of Igbo will not die in your Life Time, and I say amen to that . Your assertion is absolutely right about the other two Hawks in Nigeria politics, even though your "own" too is the third hawk that completed the formative years of Nigeria independence. I try to avoid naming tribe, advisory . Back to the matter, my response is to the op who advocated for unity between the people of the East and the south south , so as to efficiently control the source of their wealth and their political directions within the ambit of law under the space of project Nigeria and in the events that such is not readily guaranteed they can harmoniously worked for a separate state under the banner of Old Eastern Nigeria. He demonstrated carefully and graphically the bond that existed between the people of south south and the core East in culture, language, folklore and ancestral lineages. If the above aforementioned points are logically true, so while should Mr Orji K, a respected stateman, will cry blue murder and exhibit intolerance to the emergence of Mr Akpabio as the 10th SP of NNAssembly . As long as the interest of the old east will be guaranteed and covered, a political leadership from south south should be supported by their so called first neighbor or first cousin, south East . That being said, All the occupiers of the first, second and likely third position of the land are going to carry a tag of criminality or thievery as their badge. They are all bigger thieves and there is no Saint among them . So you cannot tell me Kalu is more cleaner than Akpabio or that Akpabio is more cleaner than Kalu. The bigger picture is that, undeniable, the East can sow a seed now for South south Akpabio and expect the gains in the future . I will end it with this story, a man MKO Abiola of 1993 who won the presidential election in that same year was denied the benefit of assuming the leadership of the country due to man complex circumstances but he did not worked or campaigned for the dissolution of the country, he pursued his legitimate right through persuasive modalities and still ended up in jail and eventually paid a supreme sacrifice - died in prison . 30 years later, his spirit, and ideology still echoed through Tinubu as a renewed hope for a better Nigeria. The lesson here is sometimes you might fight for something good and you may not be the direct beneficiary of it but the good seed you sowed today will rub off good on your generation and unknown generations to come. So there should be no hard feelings if south south are shining today, after all south east have shown like a sunshine as SP under Obasanjo presidency in the past . Moreso that the east are taking the position of a presiding officer in the House of Rep . It's not so gloomy like you painted it to be now . With patience and sacrifice,16 years from now ( to some of you might see it as too far) the Next President of Nigeria is coming from the East . No two ways about that . |

OldBeer:According to the document you've posted, the Nigerians killed 2000 of your people in Calabar. Has Nigeria apologised for that? All of the Eastern region was affected by starvation and conscription. We've all got stories of relatives being forced to fight in the war. It is not unique to one particular village. That is the nature of war. It is horrible and it is evil. Ojukwu would have never seceded if Easterners (that is including Kalabari people) weren't being slaughtered like chickens in the North. I'm sorry for what your people went through — it was wrong and brutal. However, if you take a deeper look into what is going on in Nigeria today, you will know that the Igbo people are not your enemies. |
