What the OP did was to discredit Messi and mislead those that didn’t watch or experience 2010 then I dropped Sneijder’s stats and that of the eventual winner(Messi)

In Ronaldo’s case, I was telling him to apply the same logic that made him think Messi does not deserve 2010 that’s why I mentioned Ribery and Neuer.

However, If the award was simply about goal scoring, Messi would have 2016, 2017 and 2018 and Lewandoski would have won 2021 and 2022.
