The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Mr. Peter Obi has said that Nigerian “democracy is deeply troubled” in his remarks to mark this year’s Democracy Day.

Obi who is currently challenging the outcome of the Presidential election at the Election Petition Tribunal said “The deficits of trust and efficiency in our last elections demonstrate” the poor state of democracy in Nigeria, adding that “the challenge of June 12 and a dedicated Democracy Day is to inspire us to correct the errors of our recent elections”.

The only presidential candidate in the Last general election who deceived Nigerians is a certain notorious Narcotic drug trafficker who engages in criminal state capture.
