Reason to never buy dogs less than 8-months old, except you know what you're doing.

Most of We Nigerians no get single truth and when We scam people, we think we're being smart.

if you sell me imPure dog for less than 20,000 naira , and I end up finding out it's not what I was told it is, I would just overLook it but cut you off. But should I pay more than that, omo I go find you Ooo. one way or the other, I go make sure na you loss.

Also no one sells a pureBreed for 55,000 naira even when they're hugry except they really have a strong reason to. You just need ensure their reason is genuine. Anyone could say this dog is more than 150,000 naira but na because I broke make me dey sell am 55,000 naira - if you go fall for am, na you sabi.

Some would even place a price tag of 150,000 naira , then allow you price it down and pretend they're just doing you a favour.

Also always go with someone who knows dogs well and insist on seeing their parents with your koroKoro eyes. no be videos Ooo.

Another reason why I don't pay and have something delivered to me. me no even trust Jumia and Konga sef, let alone one yeye Nigerian somewhere.

This is what the seller said, he needed money that's why he dropped it from 70k the usual price. The more the dog grows the more it looks like local. It's very obvious now and the dog is still just 5months.

Lol....there is nothing like pure if its already mixed.....some cross are just lucky to come out physically appealing because at the end of the day, final phenotypic traits are based on random selection which can be combined anyhow cos nature will always do whateva it likes during zygote formation.. thats why its not good to manipulate nature.....

Have u seen Doberman and German shepherd mix?? Their puppy look ugly like shit....

Some dogs cant even produce progeny if they are even able to cross cos they are different species e.g Caucasian shepherd and lhasa... or Neapolitan mastiff and Dachshund...

you mean if father and mother is pure and you mix them there is no garantee they will contribute 50-50 offspring

Baba there ìs no guarantee....biology is crazy..... what happens in mammals is that a puppy will receive all the genes from both parents and nature that on auto pilot will randomly choose which will be dominant or recessive mixing the traits anyhow..

Which means..one puppy can come out with gsd ears/ rot short stature(looking like ekuke)

Or... GSD long snout....Rot short coat.... or any other weird combination......that may make the puppy not look cool ... u may be lucky that out of 8 puppies..one can come out with the GSD genes all dominant, that one will now look like a pure GSd...

But still...doesnt mean it doesnt have its rot genes hidden inside.....if it crosses another dog when old enough, the rot gene can show up in the puppy...buyer will now be complaining......

I've made up my mind that before I buy any dog I'll put up the picture here for Nairalanders to check it out cos I don't know about dogs.

My friend bought a BoerBoel and after 3 months, someone who knows dog told us it's a mixbreed of GSD & BoerBoel.
