Hello folks,
My PR application is 10 months, Eligibility started 4months ago and still in progress. And the wait is tiring, especially for my wife.
I was thinking if I can apply for SOWP or be patient instead?
If yes, what are the requirements?
Are POF/home ties requested for SOWP?
How long does SOWP take?

I believe the normal processing time is 19 weeks, but can be shorter or longer.

It can take from 1 week (Very rarely) to several weeks.

You can’t use courier for two ways. You can only use courier for taking it to vfs. You’ve to pay vfs if you want home delivery.

It’s the same document, you’ve to prove home tie and good pof.

Sowp is prioritize, new application are processed on Ottawa. Only ircc can give answer on processing time, but it’s faster than vv.

Since eligibility has started on vv application, send mails n Webform. Reach out to MP, they help a lot.

Abuja is faster buh not cost effective, you’ll have to pay transmission fee if you didn’t do your biometrics der n also you’ll have to pay for delivery fee unless you want to pickup yourself in Abuja.

For Lagos submission and pickup is free but the process can take time, let say 1-3wks.

You mean two-way courier service as stated in the image attached is not possible? So just one-way and then would have to pay to VFS for home delivery or go there and pick it up myself?
