Besides, show's not even out yet. The guy's rant is equivalent to someone calling out plot holes from The Flash trailer or snippets. Would you also endorse that?

Before the first avengers were formed most of them had never worked with Fury too, it's canon in the MCU that the initiative started with Captain Marvel (1st avenger).
Fury saying he won't call any help cos it's a personal war is a stupid plot hole anyway you look at it. You don't need to watch the full series in this case to know that it's just a ploy to keep all the big names and heavy hitters of the MCU out of the saga.

I was invested in this story cos I love the comic version and that one was well written and complex AF. When I heard it was going to be a series I was excited cos atleast they'll be able to flesh it out but after that snippet the excitement is rapidly waning.

Does he even know how big the threat he's dealing with is, when he said that?

Do we have the full conversation about why he's not calling The Avengers or we're just going by one line that we saw in a few minutes video?

There will be no Dr strange or Spiderman or Scarlet Witch in this one, the people that'll help him are maybe his former Shield buddies and couple new street level guys...

I used those big names as examples...new Cap is there, New BP is there, The Marvels are there, Hawkeye and his prodigy are there and all of them can help. But he wants to fight them alone.

Fury might well be able to get around her but it will cost him time and effort that he most likely can't afford.

Bottom line, there's so many unknown factors that can't be gleamed from trailers and snippets alone. It's completely ok to lose enthusiasm after seeing a trailer but let's keep the plothole discussions on hold until we've actually seen the plot executed.

And i was looking forward to the series.
The Weeknd needs to drop down his ego, this would have been an opportunity for him to rise in the movie industry like 50 cent, Jenifer Lopez and co.

I don't know which Egoistic attitude he is showing on set when legends like Jenifer Lopez, 50 cent, Mary j Blige and co are still humble in their acting careers.
