my brother,we saw all their shenanigans and antics.l have alot of Yorubas I swear in my platform that live in Lagos, campaign and voted for obi,some even took the obidient matter on their head beyond the Igbo guys,their eyes were later open after the presidential election all thanks to their lousy,chest beating nature and their disregard to their host.

Abiola defeated tofa in south east in 1993 with a few thousand votes inspite of the fact that tofa fielded an igbo vice and Abiola did Muslim- Muslim ticket .Arthur Nzeribe is one of the most hated men today in south east even in his home town of orlu because of the way he with IBB, HRM Sijuade and co truncated democracy. Igbos voted Abiola not because he was Yoruba or not but because during his campaigns he proffered practical solutions on how to solve Nigeria’s problems ie he was the best candidate. Igbos believe in good governance as against politics of poverty, same reason that made igbos support Abiola, Obasanjo, yaradua, Jonathan and Obi made them reject emilokan as incompetent because he ran away from the opportunity to address Nigerians on how he would solve the problems of the country

If Yorubas exhibit the same tendency of a megalomaniac, they'll be worst treated.

Do you think no Yoruba communities want Tinubu in the South East? There are. But after he was declared, they did not taunt their host. That could have spelt consequences of the intended magnitude if they painted any tribal supremacy. In Yoruba culture, you must read the room well before your move. I think the Igbo culture lacks such social awareness.

Hopefully, the Igbos will mature socially and know that actions have consequences.

Of course, some Igbos know this, but a majority are still grappling with that reality.
