Met said Vendor turned scammer on Tinder months back
Vendor claims she sells kaftan fabrics and advertises on her whatsapp status
I saw the status and decided to patronize her on a white patterned kaftan material.
We spoke and got to know we are in the same geographical location.
Paid for the item “4yards”, payment confirmed by the vendor

Vendor asked when i’d like to receive the item, I replied, that same day ‘Wednesday’ since we so close geographically

She refused and affirmed Friday I’d receive the item I paid for

Fast forward Friday, I dropped a message and got a response of “no pickup”.

Saturday evening, at most I should get an update since the second day is ending with no item in sight. My messages was left unattended to.

Sunday, I left the whole thing as it is as I was already infuriated by the whole thing.

Monday, I dropped another message, afternoon and evening. This time I target when she’s online so there isn’t any excuse of missing the messages. But….. you already know

Today 13th june 2023, a Tuesday, I decided to call since messaging her on WhatsApp proves fruitless.
I don’t know what she might be going through. But then there was a twist as I had it in mind to call her as much as possible to the point it gets annoying to either get her to

1. Pick the call and converse like a responsible person
2. Ignore the calls and leave me guessing
3. Hang up the calls and make up my mind that she’s a scam
It was a little trap
Ladies and gents
Gave her 49 calls in the morning and in she kept on hanging up the calls, pick sometimes, not say anything then hang up.
I called up till the point she switched off her phone

At least now I know she’s with her phone, reads the messages, sees the calls and chooses to ignore her customer. Now I have closure

I’m like yeah, feels good to be on the side that dishes out pain

Since she switched off her phone, I went about my day having it in mind I will continue whenever her phone rings again.

This evening I continued and on the 15th call, she blocked my number from reaching her and that was enough for me to further conclude, this is a SCAM

If someone blocks all access of reaching amd comminicating with them while still in a contract, such a person has breached the contract and it termed as a criminal violation.

Immediately I went to her whatsapp and typed “watch your back” immediately, she read all the messages I have sent days back and her response further proves, SHE IS A SCAM.

Whether it is 8.5k or 8.5M, such a barbaric show of salesmanship shouldn’t be tolerated

why do people like giving yourself headache and pain? Why have gave somebody you don't knw/met online your money? Since you know her office, go there first thing tomorrow morning and collect your 💰.You don't need to talk b4 she do the needful

good. We are currently dealing with one THIEF like that too. The 🐐 collected a Nairalander money and disappeared/blocked her.

Most people weren't lucky to be refunded ..... really happy you are refunded.... kindly make it your habit not to pay for anything before delivery.... always pay on delivery...
