*Good SOP (this will cover why you’re going for the conference, how it related to ur job or business n the benefit)
*Properties, Investments.
*Family ties.

Hello guys, I'm new on here and I need your help and views on my TRC. I did my biometric December 19th 2022 and passport request letter came out 27th December 2022. Then I submitted my passport to DHL to Ircc for Visa stamping on 16th of January 2023 and I got email on 19th January 2023 from vfs that my passport as being received at the ircc Abuja office and it under processing. So ever since then I haven't received back my passport and anytime I track my passport it's same message still under processing. Can anyone tell me why my TRV is taking this long?

I need an advice, my partner applied for Canadian tourist visa in 2022 and the application took over a year to be out, she has been issued 3years tourist visa but she is currently nursing a baby now and she can't travel on holiday without our baby, can anyone advice on how we could apply for a tourist visa for our baby? She should apply for the baby, use her account. After submitting, she should send mails and Webform for the application to be expedited because she can’t leave her baby behind.

US Dropbox timeline varies. When I submitted mine Feb 20th 2023, I got it back March 7th. Have you gotten a date yet to drop off your passport for the renewal? If you haven't,ensure your DS 160 is filled before your IW period expires.

It’s over 5 months you submitted your passport for stamping, that’s way to much o. Maybe you should go to vfs center to confirm what’s wrong or send mails and Webform to ircc office. Also check your portal incase you’re requested to do something. It’s strange

Check the PPR mail you were sent, they must have listed documents to be included.

What I was trying to say is, "Ensure your filled DS160 is not more than 6months old on your scheduled date for drop off at DHL" and it should be filled before your IW period expires.
You've got to be careful so you don't miss your IW window, to get a date for interview now is till 2025. Maybe handle the Dropbox first before submitting your passport for TRV

As a Nigerian you can apply for a Nigerian passport from any Nigerian embassy in the world but the question is as you're leaving next month will the passport be ready by then. And if it is ready will you be able to get the passport stamped before you leave?

Also passport renewals with validity more than 6 months is usually more difficult outside Nigeria of not outright impossible.

Your best bet is to send in your current passport for stamping wherever you are in Europe.

Thanks for your reply, i have contacted Nigerian Embaasy here. I can get my passport in 2 wks. For the embassy to stamp me befire 1 month, i can extend my ticket as i have a longer visa validity.
But my question is this, since i did not renew and send webform to them b4 my ppr. How would i let them know or just renew and send them my new passport?

Documents
-2 duly signed consent forms.
-2 copies of passport data page
-Passport Request Letter
-Yellow biometric / white slip

Put everything inside a brown.

Please can someone enlighten me more about port of entry questions and do I need to book a return ticket or hotel reservation while coming into Canada with a temporary visitors visa. Thanks

POE questions are what you filled in your application, it’s nothing serious.

Make hotel reservations incase you’re asked wer you’ll be staying during your trip. Return ticket shows your intent to return after your trip, so I will recommend it. It’s possible you won’t be asked but to safe, I will advise it.

Do you’ve access to your portal? If yes, check if there’s any action required from you.

Also when you tracked it. Is it with under processing at vfs or ircc?

I didn't have access to my portal, it was my agent that did it for me but when I tracked it, it under processing at the vfs.

You still need consent form. The documents listed are all you need either you’re using courier or submitting in person.
