We Don’t Aim To Trust The Judiciary But To Overwhelm Her With Evidence -aisha Ye by Penguin2(op): 7:53pm On Jun 13, 2023
Since the Nigerian judiciary started churning out some questionable judgments, most Nigerians have stated many times that they have lost faith with the judiciary and their ability to deliver impartial justice.

These misgivings were in the realm of conjectures until the Senator Bulkachuwa made his controversial statement during the valedictory session of the senate when he stated that his wife, who was the President of the Court of Appeal, used her position to extend “help” to his fellow politicians. No one knows if he intended for this statement to come out the way it did or not but it has further damaged the reputation of the judiciary and her integrity.

But despite the mistrust arising from these happenings, Aisha Yesufu, an activist and supporter of Peter Obi, has best captured how the judiciary can be best pushed to the corner until she has no choice than to do justice.

”Our business”, she said, “is not to trust the judiciary. Our business is to overwhelm them with evidence”.

There’s the volume of evidence that would be brought before the judiciary, with all technicalities taken care of, and the judiciary would have no choice than to do justice.

Regardless, we keep eyes on the judiciary .

Absolutely. Well said.

INEC is already dead.

Check out the confession of the senator yesterday and you know the judiciary is in a state of comatose.

Tinubu the unconstitutional president and placeholder was seen threatening the Judiciary in his yesterday speech.

Despite all the darkness, I love what PO is doing.
Choke them with evidence.

And after 2 weeks of calling witnesses we are yet to see where LP and Obi prove to the tribunal that the results with them is different from what INEC declared. Rather they’re turning the tribunal to a mini-cinema.

This is what irks me, seunmsg.

You would think if they had all this proof about their "stolen mandate", they would have shown it by now so the Judges would quickly rule in their favour and Nairaland would rest small.

Nope, instead they started with Abuja 25%, then moved on to Shettima double nomination and then wheeling HDTV's into the courtroom (which for some reason got Obidients excited) to play a video of INEC Chairman saying what we all heard him say.

Very dissapointing to say the least.

What overwhelming can be more than the judiciary upturning the victory of the yobe senator for lawan at the dieing minutes

Mind you that was just lawan o, a number three man without power of the commander in chief

There are some things that can't change so long as the judiciary are nigerians
