It's not anymore as countries understand the game. They just need to establish the financial framework for it and with the CBDC, it becomes easier.

You can do things without saying them, it is a golden rule in politics.
If the Kenyans do not understand that, then they will put Africa at risk because when things go bad out there in east Africa, the great lakes region ( Rwanda, Burundi, RDC etc) will be impacted and then West Africa and then the southern part of Africa etc.
No need to mention here the ways and means the United states and its allies ( The E.U) will undertake.

That is the premise on which BRICS was formed to create an alternative to Western monetary system, and why the global south are currently boycotting the dollar.
