On this issue, the timing has to be good

What I've observed is that swing trades take time to develop

The market will have to hit a new area (1atr on 4hr chart) and settle there for anywhere between 16-28 hrs before it pushes either upwards or downwards into a definitive close for the day.

Wait for market to close 30 pips above or below previous day's close on 4h chart. Then wait another 20 hrs to confirm direction before taking a trade.

But even then, I no easy like that to capture 1:3.

1:2 and 1:1.5 is easier to capture.

Price didn't even get to my SL price on Trading view, yet I was stopped out 😅.. These are the things that makes the business difficult. I don't get emotional about losses anymore but if you are a newbie BE PREPARED for all these things... They ll happen times without number

After using the 50 and 61 zones and failing mostly, I found out that the market mostly goes in my direction, but I get stopped out before it moves. I did not want to increase my SL thus reducing my R:R so I went back to backtesting and reconstruction of my strategy.

It was around the same point I started switching from support and resistance to supply and demand zones and some SMC concepts that I realized about discounted and premium price zones. Premium price zones are the best zones that are optimal for a sell trade while Discounted zones are the opposite of premium zones. When you draw the fib, the 50 zone is the balance or equilibrium anything above is premium and anything below is discounted.

That was when it occured to me that I should look for order blocks in areas that are discounted in order to increase R:R, get better entries.et.c... Being someone that experimented with the fib a lot even when I was using S&R I've always had the 78 level drawn out so I started working on the fib again I had the 78 level then as the upper boundary meaning I couldn't go higher that it, that was my SL point so I was looking for entry point. After doing it all, I arrived at the 70 for best entry. I think it also helped that during my start towards trading and the fib tool, I saw on one of the guys I was learning from his YouTube page that when the price goes from the 38 level, it's quick to move, almost like a spring but most times it doesn't go far, the 50 level is balanced in both speed and distance while the levels below the 50 usually take more time to move, but they travel the farthest.

I've combated this using supply and demand, but as with any strategy, it's bound to have flaws... I'm still working on it , hopefully it turns out good.
