Because the manufacturing date of the car is 07/08......that's July 2008!!

Cars manufactured typically after the middle of the year are labelled/taxed as cars of the proceeding year, especially if the form factor of the car remains the same (meaning the design wasnt changed)....

If it were 05/08 or 06/08, it will be labelled/taxed as a 2008 and not 2009 car!!

Those who import cars and sell cars in bulk understand better

This is 100% 2008..the front and back light show that ...from 2009 to 2012 is totally a different look..
