The constitution of a country is supreme and it gives the courts power to take decisions on various matters brought before it...
Nobody is above the law! not even the "president"
The office of the president and all the powers he enjoys is the creation of the constitution....

Wait until Tinubu is sacked, for sure he will disobey the court's verdict...
Then he will be treated in the language he understands. angry grin

Yes but that can't happen here in Nigeria.

Kenya election was annulled while sitting president was on reelection, first in Africa, it was because the judgement must be delivered before the Inauguration day.

Removing a sworn in president would distrupt our democracy system and calendar

The answer is a resounding YES!

It happened in smaller African democracies like Malawi and Kenya, so why do you feel it will be impossible in Nigeria?

Tinubu will be removed by the courts because there is overwhelming evidence which clearly shows he shouldn't be on that seat. The judges will do the right thing as backed by the law and there would be massive jubilation when that verdict is made!

This one is pure ewedu talking. No sense of logic at all.

FYI, removing a wrongly imposed president by the judiciary will straighten our democracy. It will show that we have arrived as a country since rule of law can take place regardless of who is at the receiving end.

Why won't he leave the seat? Once the judiciary at the supreme Court rules that he was wrongly imposed, it automatically makes it illegal for Tinubu to be in Aso rock or to continue parading himself as president. Anything he signs, be it bill or contract automatically becomes null and void!

Go and read what happened to Gbagbo of Cote d'ivorie when he refused to vacate as president grin grin

Obi or atiku has no strong enough case to convince judges. PBAT won fair and ⬜.

If by chance the PEPT removes him and the supreme court affirms it,no one will be depending on Tinubu to obey it.

The CJN will just go on to swear in the new president or Ag president immediately.

You saw the way he won the elections and you're still expecting the court to remove him? Who or what is fuelling your delusions? APC is not GEJ led PDP, they are very ruthless, it's no coincidence that they instructed their lawyers not to talk to the press. If you as a person was announced as the winner of the presidential election, will you allow the courts to remove you with the resources you have at your disposal? obi doesn't have a case and he knows it, he has to follow through with the process to soothe his teeming supporters. A man like BAT that knows how to use power can never be removed by the court in Nigeria, I can't wait for the judgement to be passed so we can have some sanity on our cyber space.

Removing a sworn in president would actually strengthen democracy system. Well i don't see any court removing Tinubu. 2 reasons- power of the president to influence any institution and implementation of IMF policies is ok for international players in the nigeria politics. Yes Tinubu is doing what they like.
