For someone who came in from the corporate sector, he has failed to stimulate the kind of investment inflow that Ogun State should ordinarily benefit by being adjacent to Lagos State.

He brought Econet wireless into Nigeria that time. He also invested state funds into Econet to make a fortune.

The same Econet was change to V.mobile, to Zain, to Celtel and now Airtel.

The relationship now continues on a mega scale.
