Are These Appointments To Represent Nigeria Or Oduduwa? by SOSinNigeria(op): 10:57pm On Jun 19, 2023
Lol, what manner of appointments is this? The list looks like a roll call of Oduduwa armed forces. Every important position either has a Yoruba as commander or second in position. A country of over 280 ethnic groups and one ethnicity dominates in such manner?

It seems the argument is that if a certain Buhari can get away with brazen bigotry and nepotism why not him? If Fulanis can do it without minding, then why not them too.

Those that thought they had a gentleman agreement of you take the economy and allow me take the military, in 1970 are about to learn that man is a greedy animal.

We will watch this movie in 5D grin grin

It's a normal thing in Nigeria for somebody to appoint people from his place or religion. We are all guilty of this.If someone is in the position to make appointment and he/she didn't appoint anybody from his place or religion, his people will start calling him out for not helping his own.So you just have to wait for your own turn too.No offence.Though it's not supposed to be so,but the practice has eaten deep into us..

What Tinubu stated in that infamous interview with Thisday newspaper has been ringing in my head since I saw his Oduduwa list.

Anyways, I like Tinubu's guts, he is actually walking the talk!

Before the feudal North could understand what is going on, it will be too late grin grin

Well he got more votes in Odùduwà land percentage wise of people per zone so it is only fair he acknowledges that.

Only joking by the way.

Those u listed up there are ministers
When did BAT appoint his own ministers?

By the way, under Musa and Obj, the three major tribes are well represented among the top officials, only GEJ appointed SE guys as if it was a position for Afigwe(Afor-Igwe) village heads

You're confused and shouldn't be taken seriously

I so much love ur reply man. Mine is watching in 3D, I'm only minding my damn business and watch as things unfold.
Nigerians are in for d real shit

Let me break down d increment of diesel by 7.5% and electricity by 40%
Diesel is being sold at 650 on average. 7.5 ÷100 =0.075
0.075 × 650 (current price of diesel) = 48.75
What this means is that a liter of diesel has being added by 48.75
So calculate 650 + 48.75 = 698.75. That's in average
So diesel would selling at 698.75 on average

As for d electricity
40% increment ÷ 100 = 0.4 × 49.26 per unit of electricity = 19.704 increment
So therefore, 49.26 + 19.704 = 68.964 per unit starting from July 1, 2023
Nigerians should be ready for d worst of it all

Yes, you're right. Nigerians are going to face very tough times ahead. However, when things get tough, the tough get going. It's the North that is going to face an unprecedented crushing poverty, worse than anything they've felt before. It gives me jitters each time I try to imagine how it's going to be on them, especially when you consider the following facts:

1. They're going to pay as much as 15 naira more per litre of fuel they use! 15 naira may seem little but that's going to amount to billions of naira in aggregate terms!

2. Electricity bills used to be dirt cheap for them. Many don't even pay at all while NEPA used to use revenue generated in South to subsidize them. Now, that one too is gone!

The two factors above are fundamental to other growth indices. For a region with pervasive insecurity, mass unemployment, illitracy and mass poverty, the future is very gloomy for them. I hope they don't take out their frustrations via religious riots or else they will lose all completely.

There were 10 Northerners and 10 SWesterners, 1 SS and one SE. You don't like it, go and hug transformer.

In addition, you should be spending your time chasing your Peter Obi's manhood mandate in court. Why worry about getting employed and slaving under the cocaine sniffing drug lord.

This is like crying over a split milk. NIGERIA is a 36 CONSTITUTIONAL STATES. GOWON, ABACHA AND CO. have done that wonderfully with a military Fiat and the DOMINEERING NON DEMOCRATIC "EXCLUSIVE LIST". GLORY TO GOWON ABACHA AND CO.
ACCEPT THAT AND STOP STEALING THEIR RESPECTIVE GOVERNORS AUTHORITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF FULL POLICING SOCIAL SECURITY AUTONOMY, FULL ECONOMIC RESOURCING AUTONOMY AND FULL POLITICAL ELECTIONEERING AUTONOMY FOR THEIR PEOPLE AND THEIR AUTHORITY TO CONTRIBUTE UNIFORMLY TO FINANCE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
THE ONUS IS NOW ON TINUBU IN PARTICULAR,
AKPABIO AND KEKERE EKUN IN GENERAL TO PUT HEADS TOGETHER TO DO THIS.
GOD HELP US ALL.

Tinubu even tried by still giving some igbo people positions in his government. If I was the one that didn't get a single vote from SE there is no way I will appoint people from that region into key positions.
