Shame 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Most Nigerians don't understand what it means to close a case.

It means that Atiku has concluded his own part of the case. It's time for other parties to open theirs.

You've been hearing about Atiku's and Obi's evidence because the cases of the petitioners were open. The respondents could only cross examine the witnesses of the petitioners at that stage of trial.

This news presupposes that the petitioners have given almost all evidence that they have to give. After they close their case, they won't tender evidence or call witnesses in court again. It will be the respondent's turn to call evidence and destroy the petitioners' cases.
Thank you for this explanation cus me sef I was confused. What I read didn't tally with comments on the matter

This is about trust. Eyeneck and the aapc look more like two different arms of one same agency working together to achieve a common goal.
Simply because they are co-defendants in the case— as your lord and master joined them in the suit. The same way INEC defended the results that declared Adeleke winner in Osun against the APC. Never mind that, you can keep on being getting emotionally manipulated—- it’s the price to pay for lack of perspective. Obi has most of you where he wants you and will milk the herd ignorance with ruthless narcissistic expertise. He did not and is not winning anything, anywhere against anyone with this empty charade of his. He made so much mouth yet fumbled a basic case. As usual it’s everyone else’s fault not his nor the tactlessness of his legal team. The next thing for him to do is unleash his usual character assassination onslaught against the judges, and their families. You and other zealots will get riled up per usual, claim victims, run with another narrative for the next few weeks, but will only end in wailing and gnashing of teeth. Nothing else.

You don't even understand the statement and you are here capping. It means INEC is acting like an opponent instead of a referee. It's already an indictment on INEC.
SangoOlukosoOba:
“ According to him, getting documents from INEC is like asking your opponents for weapons.”

🤣🤣🤣🤣

So you knew all this and still went ahead!

Someone should extend this communication to Peter’s lawyers, maybe they will learn one or two.

Going against the very powers that make be!

And yet you are among the people praying and hoping for a better Nigeria, are you for real? With this kind of reasoning and believe that there is “powers that make be” you, I and every citizen should be fighting this so call “Power that be” for equity fairness and Justice and here you are spewing rubish.

This particular case is about PDP and Atiku's case but you still managed to bring Obi into it. It shows your level of hatred. By the way, why has INEC refused to bring documents they used in declaring Tinubu the winner?

You all still think this is all about personal interests until the tables turn. In the past it was Obasanjo doing all the irregularities. Now he doesn't even have mouth to correct anyone because he was guilty of these same things when he was in power.

It's now Tinubu's turn after Buhari. After Tinubu, someone else will continue in the same manner, and Nigeria will keep moving in circles.

Politicians are doing all these, but people like you keep encouraging them, tagging everyone emotional.

The good thing is, we are all in it together.

What he means is that the agency will also be corrupt just like INEC. The problem is not INEC, but the entire Nigeria's corrupt system.
YouandiAllofus:
The agency, if created, will not be playing a defensive part along with any respondents just like the apc and inec are currently putting up a collaborative defensive efforts like 5 & 6 against petitions.

I think its about time another neutral and independent commission is created to handle all electoral documents in the country. After inec staffs must have done their calculations, gotten their figures from all forms, declared the results at the polling units and successfully transmitting them to the next collation centers; the electoral documents is immediately transfered to the new commission that now bears the responbilities of safe storage and issuance on request to any one haven secured a court order to that effect.
...and that supposed new commission will be formed from heaven 🙄

I was really surprised to see that many nairalanders don't know what it means to close a case in court until I saw your comment.

Educated illiterates. They can't understand simple news.. They assume Atiku has withdraw from challenging the outcome of the election. It simply means end of submission of evidence.

is it not same INEC that will give the documents to the commission you are suggesting? What stops them from applying the same tactics

after which comes the verdict by the court.

If you support this nonsense from INEC then it means you're not any better than those in government oppressing us.

INEC is suppose to be independent,if they have nothing to hide why they playing games.

Most Nigerians crying about the government are worse than then government itself.
Just looking at the nonsense a suppose sane person is supporting.
Re: Atiku, PDP To Close Case Challenging Tinubu’s Election Thursday by Valroh(m): 8:00am On Jun 21, 2023
Government is not only our problem but our minds and understanding.

With Prayers I believe we can change things and even create the unexisting things.

If we, with Thanksgiving Prayers and Supplications make the stations of NIGERIA known to God he will listen to us and help us in his Mercy by his spirit.

But people always first go to their fellow humans (Curt) before going to God instead otherwise. The Bible says 'In the beginning God...' but people are like in the beginning man/self.

Honestly it's wrong.

“Hatred” , “Victim”, bla bla bla. These are the only words you guys use once anyone does not join in your emotional blackmail rollercoaster. The poster I replied already made it about your demi- god just like everyone of your fellow obidients screaming “Atiku knows he didn’t win” even without understanding the thread. But of course you’ll gladly ignore that in your usual victimhood and dishonesty. Your obviously dubious manipulator of a saint never had a case to begin with. You can cry all you want, your Obi is a pathological liar who is not different from all the other politicians you are placing him above. “INEC didn’t give him documents to nail them” ? Just hear yourselves. Always scheming and blaming and then result to petulant tirades when they beat you to your game. For a guy who boasted just weeks ago, he had evidence and will prove to everyone how we won the entire election. Only to result to manufacturing witnesses on the fly, doctoring evidence, etc. if you seek a position, you work, form alliances and bid your time, not reality to dark arts of character assassination of your opponents, weaponised the emotional imbalance and ignorance of a mob, cyber-bullying, propaganda and lies. It didn’t work then, it won’t work now in case you are not paying attention. You are not victims, you are just sore schemers who lost an election. Incompetent lots

Your full-page reply shows you did not understand a thing about what I said. Again, it's not about Obi, Atiku, and Tinubu.

My concern is the way forward, and obviously Tinubu does not represent the way forward. It should be very clear to any sensible person that that the last election was severely marred and flawed, just like the previous ones. Nigeria is not ready yet.

You've not said anything different. What happened to their 100 witnesses? Kikiki 🤣
By the way judgement will not come until the respondents have their own time too.

Lawyers don chop their own share of the loot. There's nothing solid in the case they put forward. Wasted efforts! Excercise in futility!
