Why is nobody talking about Romeu?
Mikel/Romeu pairing should be something.

Ramires is more effective playing on the right of midfield.
Still,i would prefer Ramires to Lamps at that holding role anyday.

If i remember rightly, that was the role he played for Brazil at the last world cup.
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Nobody: 11:48am On Oct 02, 2012
Ibime: Sure, it works to cover a slow central midfield, but do you see Ramires as your DM going forward? I certainly dont. If I was RDM, I would be requesting a new DM on January 1st.

I am against Ramires in ma midfield fullstop, but anything to "protect Mikel" is fine by me for now, till we reach January.

U Sabi twist Issues Eh! grin

Talking about Ramy playing in the Pivot and doin' fine is certainly a different Issue with Protecting Mikel and U voicing for the acquisition of a New DM is Certainly Outta this World cos we've got a Young Romeu on the Bench {He Can always Improve}, Did i forget Including Chalobah On the List?
undecided

nateevs:

Good observation El Guapo. You won't get a response from Ibime though. According to him, it's one of RDM's best tactical decisions of last season. Undoing AVB's bullsh1t of playing Ramires in the middle and playing him on the wings where, if he loses the ball, it doesn't affect the team.

Are we now saying RDM's undoing his own best decision or Ibime didn't know know what he was saying and will be forced to change his mind. . . again? wink cheesy

Well, IB said 'till we reach January' grin grin

Did you write those rationales? Honestly your idiocy is peaking at previously unrecorded levels - why are you sending me other people's links or are you now admitting that you are incapable of original thought and just plagiarised those articles? cheesy

PS - even those articles posted up there ended with caveats such as 'lets wait and see' regarding Ramires and this phat phool of astronomical proportions wants to use those posts as evidence supporting his moronic commentary? Where did you ever say let's wait and see concerning Ramires? Didn't you conclude that he isn't even seen as a CM? cheesy

As for the sexual references - I'll just take those comments as your way of self-identifying your homosexual leanings. Only when the bottom of the (shallow) barrel of intellect has been reached do sexual references become the order of the day - no different from DK really.

In other words you are finished. grin

Trust me. Ibime is the only dude I know who goes to a blog on the internet, quotes the words of a fellow yob and pastes it here with the confidence he can muster as though those e-analysts have discovered something new. As long as it's remotely close to what he's arguing about, it's true.

The other day he posting a journalist's personal opinion about Llorente's "perceived tiredness" as fact.

---------------------------------------------------

Ibime:
Meanwhile, I'm sorry to do this Nateevs. Dont like bringing up yesterday's debate. . . . but I couldnt help meself laughing. . .
I mean, how do you go from:
to few months back:
to this:
Thats like accusing someone who hasnt changed his mind, of changing his mind. . . whilst simultaneously changing your mind!!! grin grin grin

Desperation of epic proportions.
It was one of you supposed strong points of argument on this thread. Even opposition fans know about it. So I asked a simple question.
You want to accuse of "simultaneously changing my mind" yesterday when I included Ramires at DM at the beginning of the season?
You need a spatula to scrape fat off your brain.

YOU, Ibime, of all people want to accuse me of changing my mind on this forum? I will blow you away.
Let people come and see your show of shame form yesteryears.
This is Ibime telling us all, as usual, what we didn't know back then.

Lemme spell it out: Drogba's touch is not up to league 2 level!
Drogba is finished! That is why I have been advocating to sell Drogba before he reaches thirty. This is simple analysis!

It is harmful to keep players on past glory.

I have said it before and Ill say it again, Drogba without stamina is as useless as John Carew.
Class (Anelka: 1997-2009) is permanent, whilst form (Drogba: 2006-2007) is temporary.
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by debosky(m): 1:39pm On Oct 02, 2012
grin grin grin grin

This same Ibime that claimed Drogba was finished because he had 'stopped running'? grin

Nigga is on a long thing - he accuses others of being google analysts and brings some yeye references about Llorente being tired. Thanks for reminding me about that. grin

This is how phat phools make even bigger phools of themselves all in the aim of being an ITK.

With two holding midfielders, Mikel sitting deep, Ramires can move forward to press. Ramires is faster on the ball.
In a counter attack situation, Ramires has the stamina and pace to run back and support the defence.

In other words, going forward or tracking back, Ramires is faster and fitter than Lamps.
A few games already and we have seen the benefit.

Again, Lamps is a CAM and his first instinct is to attack and he keeps moving forward.
Lamps is not a holding midfielder and there isn't really any sense playing him there when there are natural holding midfielders on the team.

There isn't any sense playing at all when we have young, creative and talented midfielders in the team.
The days of Lamps are truly over. Time to ship him out.

Lamps will always feature though because the English will make a meal of it if he is benched permanently.
RDM will have so much pressure that he will have no choice than to keep playing Lamps.

Ibime's an alright chap. . . his problem is his inability to own up to mistakes and a tendency for ridiculous revisionism to suit his current views. grin
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Ibime(m): 4:32pm On Oct 02, 2012
Hmmm. . . . so Ibime is the topic of discussion 'round here? wink

You mean. . . like Nateevs who joined me in claiming that DD was poor, yet coming back to quote it against me?

I only called the chap out cos he accused me of changing me mind, whilst displaying his own change of mind. grin

FBS who argued on DD's side all these years never yarn, na DD-denigrator like Nateevs dey yarn.

I mean, nothing is as abominable as the man who invented the term "shape keeper" to prove that Torres keeps shape better than DD. I quickly relabelled it "shekpe keeper", and Nateevs foolishness lives with us till today on a daily basis. grin grin grin

How else can one explain that Debo claimed Denilson was better than Song, Hitzlsperger was better than Song, would like to swap Song for Kalou, Bendtner is better than Adebayor etc etc etc?

What of Nateevs who claimed Ramires cant pass, Romeu is more aggressive in the tackle, yet Ramires recycle possession better. Or any of the views he is accusing me of holding which he also held with me such as dislike for DD?

How come this Chelsea legend retired and nobody even hail the guy sef? I wont forget how we went to Bayer Arena last season and Ballack gave our midfield a lesson in passing the ball quickly and sharply even at the age of 35.

http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/3275/bundesliga/2012/10/02/3419560/breaking-news-ballack-retires-from-football?source=breakingnews

Former Germany and Bayern Munich captain Michael Ballack has announced his retirement from the game at the age of 36.

The midfielder, who represented four different sides in the Champions League and appeared in 98 games for Die Mannschaft, has decided to end his career after he was released by Bayer Leverkusen earlier this year.

Ballack announced his decision via a news statement from his lawyer, in which he thanks everyone who supported him during his time as footballer.

"At 36 years old I can look back on a long and wonderful time in professional football, which I could never have dreamed of as a child," he said.

"It was a privilege to work with world-class coaches and fantastic players. Now I am looking forward to a new chapter in my life."

"It's been a privilege to work with excellent coaches and players. I will surely miss to play in front of 80.000 fans or score a goal. The last months without active football did reveal that it's about time to quit," he later told Kicker.

"I have to thank my family and all the wonderful people who accompanied, backed and advanced me. All of them have a huge stake in my success."

Ballack, who is largely considered one of Germany's greatest ever midfielders, retires from football having never won an international tournament, and having lost two Champions League finals.

Nevertheless, the 36-year-old will look back fondly on the four Bundesliga titles, three DFB-Pokals, one Premier League title, three FA Cups an a League Cup he won during his time with Kaiserslautern, Leverkusen, Bayern Munich and Chelsea amongst others.

Where did I say Hitzlsperger was better than Song? Thunder fire your mouth and may you be struck with impotence for that nonsense.

Denilson was better than Song and statements were factual at the time - I never claimed to have predicted their future trajectory. Unlike you, I won't deny what I said previously in a fit of hasty revisionism or try twisting and turning. grin

Bendtner is warming bench for the Italian Champions and Adebayor is warming bench for Spurs - who is better? cheesy

The problem with cats like Ibime is that their low intellect forces them into a simplistic view of any statements made - they are unable to discern and differentiate between contextual statements and definitive statements.

uncle, is football all about been fast? do goals come only from counter attacks? how all of a sudden, lamps has become useless? who plays free kicks in the absence of lamps in the team? lamps playing or not playing depends on what formation the coach wants.
mikel at the holding role with any of these players is as good as having him alone there because the rest of the team forget easily that primary role.
i am not against any player pairing with mikel there as long as there is a MIKEL, any player is ok with me and giving lamps 45 minutes will not be a bad idea.
like i said, just pick one mikel and a cech then get us any other 9 players and we will be good to go.
