Because we do not border in south west, despite your bitterness against the people of south west (the bitterness was planted in your people by zik and coward ojukwu)....you and me know you are more comfortable doing business in south west than in the erosion -ravaged region cheesy so you are welcome...but behave grin
We do not border he said. Sure about that? It's all good. Like I said, make sure you will not be found lagging when those in pain now will be waxing strong in that same Alaba few years from now. So that you don't have to witch hunt for the rest of your life.

And a certain obituary mother-fucker claimed he saved #80billion and some millions of dollars yet, simple foresight and innovative administration of the state could have reduced these recurring incidences to the barest minimum.
He saved but forgot to declare the accrued interests on the billions saved instead, money found it's way into Pandora account.

I have no control over whatever you choose to believe but as long as Nigeria exists, everyone have the right to migrate and establish wherever he wishes to. Igbos are no different.

I was expecting that you guys would take advantage of our presence in Lagos state and learn the ways of commerce just like our Edo brothers did so as to compete favourably in the sector and do away with all this envy here and there.

Even in the sectors you guys hold sway, others are learning and catching up fast and may likely overtake you guys in the nearest future. Who will you blame then? Like I always say, make sure you are not found lagging behind.😎

South East is not densely populated. The whole of Igboland is not densely populated sir. In fact, South East is a minority population in a land mass with a very large swathe of unoccupied and undeveloped nature's beauty agrarian land.

The only 3 majority tribes in Nigeria are the Hausa, Yoruba and Fulani. The Igbo political elite like HE Orji Kalu know this fact.

It is not only land mass do the Igbo lack, the Igbo have a low population as well so should not be experiencing this worst forms of gully erosion if the low population and erected buildings are well dispersed in the small land mass that is still largely unoccupied as seen from Google satellite.

I have looked up Igboland on Google satellite map several times and you have large expanse of unoccupied land which supports the low population data reported for the Igbo in most data from INEC, NCC, JAMB etc.

The few areas that are densely populated are now bedeviled with wanton lawlessness and it is when these houses are demolished that trees can be planted and people forced to go build in those unoccupied undeveloped largely agrarian land that take up most of Igboland from the satellite image.

This is caused by the lawlessness of reckless building of houses on waterways to block water flow and drainages, nature then took its toll.

Everyone can still recall how one of the influencers in Anambra stood his ground to fight task force officers to stop bulldozers from pulling down one of those buildings he built on waterways and blocking free flow of water.

These lawless people are the people Mrs Oby Ezekwelizi pretends not to see because of nepotism; these set of Ndi Anambra are committing crimes against humanity and nature in Anambra and getting away with it yet Oby is not bothered.smh

It's this kind of lawlessness in Anambra we will not accept in Lagos.

Ever since I have been seeing your check my signature for free stuff I have never seen a single being come out to acknowledge the free stuff you give.....

I guess that free stuff entails distributing tribal materials about Anambra State.

If that's what put food on your table, who am I to remove meat from the mouth of a local dog.

That will be inhumane of me.

Will anyone give you award for large landmass? Lagos is the smallest state in Nigeria but the most important. The amount of crime commited in Lagos alone is more than that of the whole South east combined

Your so called huge landmass and population has not lifted Nigeria out of becoming poverty capital of the world. It only made you obsessed with Igbos and your useless 'one Nigeria'

It's a shame that this fake news is coming from Punch and somehow most can't see how this doesn't add up.
You claim 30 buildings were destroyed and 50,000 people displaced. Are you saying that over 1500 people lived in each of these buildings? Even if each building had 150 rooms, it would mean that more than 10 people slept in each room on average.
You guys should start applying your little intelligence na.

The simple reason is that in East they have being cutting down trees for more than 50 years to build houses instead of incorporating building housing with the trees .

The consequences are the environment will suffer .

For the stupid person on this thread saying that Igbo is not a major tribe in Nigeria, why not sign up for Nigerian history class and get to know your country more than on Nairaland and social media pages .
