Drainage system not well channeled, planned, or obstructed by one, two, or multiple buildings, thereby rolling out this kind of reality. One hard truth is they need to brave hard for more. If solution is to the situation is not happening anytime soon...

Yeah, but you know its not gonna be easy. Disrupting its course and channelling it elsewhere would be a very big task.. Where would you empty that volume of water and debris.

Go to this same trademore estate to rent a self-contain apartment, they'll tell you it's between 400 and 500K per year.

No drainage system, no security, moderate electricity, you can't even spend less than 1K to move from there to the city center by public transport. Yet owners of apartments are greedy enough to put house rents at stupendous rates.

Nigerians are just irritable and greedy!

This flooding issue at Trademore Lugbe has gotten out of hand. The successive fact ministers seems to be lost as to a lasting solution to this menace. Lokogoma is another area that needs urgent attention to the issue of flooding in Abuja.
