Better aspect ratio and higher resolution, meaning stunning more true to life pictures coupled with HDR capability. For movies like this with alot of fine details especially in VFX and CGI, it makes a whole lot of difference. I think Christopher Nolan uses IMAX too for his projects, I saw "Interstellar" on IMAX and it was stunning and it changed my perspective. But for your regular movies, with not much going on in terms of details, CGI etc then IMAX rip will be no good as there wouldn't be any noticeable difference with your regular Webrip.

Will all these difference be noticeable if watching from a phone screen? I've never watched an IMAX movie before but I thought there was a special environment to produce the experience and not just the size of the movie. Maybe a better screen display or a fuller sound or vibrating chairs that makes you feel the reverbs coming from the movie. Because I remember a post in this group claiming Tom cruise was pissed Christopher Nolan booked all IMAX cinemas for the viewing of his movie. Surely those cinemas have some special equipments other than just a larger movie size.

Some mobile phone screens are so advanced now that they have HDR 10 bit capabilities like Samsung's Amoled panel, so you might feel a slight difference when viewing IMAX content on it, but using a Laptop with HDR or a 4K Smart Tv with HDR and Dolby vision is when you begin to see a distinct difference.

IMAX theater are a different ball game all together, they are far larger Aspect ratios than your standard cinema with very large screens, the goal is to fill the entire field of view of the viewers, so it will feel like, you are right there in the set of the Movie!. The audio is also calibrated to make it feel like you are having a convo with the actors on screen, it is that immersive. The huge constrain is that the movie has to be shot on IMAX specialized Cameras which are fairly expensive, and so very few film makers go for it, Christopher Nolan is a champion for it, as he always want his movie to be immersive as possible to generate an appropriate feedback and narrative he is trying to tell with his, movie, and so his distribution company book IMAX theaters for weeks, when he has a new movie out, the problem now is that Tom Cruise is another IMAX auteur and it just so happens that MI7 is out around the same time as "Oppenheimer", hence the "fight", IMAX cinemas charges more, and so if Christopher Nolan has them for at least 5 weeks after his movie premiere, it will seriously affect MI7 BO numbers.

Extraction part 2 is a solid 8.5/10 for me.
Now this is an absolute thrilling masterpiece.
They gave us nonstop action from the starting to the ending.
Every scene was top notch, from the gun dwells to the fight scene especially the prison fight scene in the prison Yard. That scene was 100% GOATED.
Extraction 2 is the first and only movie i have watched repeatedly this year.

Christ is one of the best actors in Hollywood, he brings his A game to all his scenes.
And guys!!!! That gun Chris shot at the last scene where the bullets sets anything or anyone it touches fire explosion.

Do we have such guns in reality?

I don't think civilians can purchase or get such guns, both the one in extraction 2 and the one John wick used.
They must be made for special military squads but i might be wrong though.

All quiet on the western front is a solid 8/10 for me.

This is one of the best war movie i have seen for a very long time, it gives me nostalgic feelings about an old war movie called i am a soldier.

The french really dealt with the Germans in this movie, like total annihilation, lol
I felt pity for him and his friends and to make maters worst, they all died.
Non of them survived!!!! May we never experience war and may we never pray for war especially those that are praying for 3rd World war.
Ignorance is truly a disease especially to all these young folks that shouts war at any given opportunity.
They have no idea what war means.
