You guys are not following the PEPT, Tinubu is gone for sure! He may even be arrested!
wegevv:
He is positioning for presidency in 2031. Tinubu didn't officially hold any office from 2007 and now he's president. Buhari didn't officially hold any office from 1985 until he won in 2015. Vying for presidency is a full time job in Nigeria.

El Rufai must be worried about Kwankwaso which is why I believe he made those controversial comments about MM ticket in Kaduna and nationally. He is battling Kwankwaso for Buhari-style popularity in the core north with the sort of messaging that is popular there (it is what it is). He will put forward his competency to the south when the time is right (looks like the southern population tend to care more about that than religious sentiment).

It would be interesting to see if Kwankwaso declines any ministerial position PBAT offers him too. Kwankwaso would be well positioned to lead a united opposition in 2027 depending on how PBAT's administration goes. It would be easier for him than any southern candidate against Tinubu. It's probably why Tinubu is trying to bring him closer.

You're not a true Obidient. To give up at the beginning of a fight! I wonder whether you thought it'd be easy.

Tinubu will be removed and Obi declared.
Its too sure!

Lol we’re slowly learning in real time

Obi is still in court so let’s see how that goes. I can’t see much hope for him unfortunately because it’s Nigeria but also because it’s very difficult for him to prove he won the election like he said. I still support him and while there’s plenty evidence that the election was rigged in favour of APC I haven’t yet seen any conclusive evidence that Obi won the election outright. So his best hope is for a rerun or a disqualification of Tinubu (both seem very unlikely to me)

In some ways that is also his best hope for 2027 and beyond: Another four party election where PDP and NNPP field heavyweight northern candidates. He will have to try to get into the second ballot against anyone other than Tinubu because Tinubu is strong in both the south and the north while Obi is very weak in the core north

So even if Obi somehow manages to unite the opposition (NNPP, PDP and LP) against APC, he will still struggle. The incumbent effect is real too.

I watched so many polling videos before the last election and one thing that surprised me was the number of unexpected people that admitted they voted for Buhari in 2019. Pretty sure there’s a psychological thing where some people just vote for the man currently in charge. The power of the office will also give PBAT advantages.

So I’m not that hopeful about an Obi presidency anymore but let’s see. Ultimately I’m very happy that the current president has a weak mandate because that is forcing him to work. Buhari had a strong mandate in 2015 and that made him arrogant in his incompetence.

PBAT is clearly far more competent than PMB but is also under real pressure from the ongoing litigation to perform. That is good news for Nigeria ❤️

We're fighting for a new Nigeria and like our principal Obi would say, you don't expect people benefitting from the rot in the system to just go away without a fight.

Its not expected to be easy and if you're truly Obidient, you'll see to the endof the petition with believe! You can't just give up unless you never truly believe in the Obidient movement
