The war drum lovers NATO is made of should just take on each other and fight as long as they want instead of invading other countries. France and the United Kingdom fought a 100+ -year war, they can continue that war.
The British could also seek to recolonize America and push the U.S. to fight another revolutionary war of independence. Germany and Italy can invade France and Greece.

Further learning will show him NATO began with the Treaty of Dunkirk signed by Britain and France. It was created to eliminate wars, and not to fight wars.

When you read any document 'written in good faith' by NATO members , you are better off reading it the other way ( i.e., considering the exact opposite of the good intentions it claims). NATO was not created to prevent any soviet attack on the West, but to put in place an organization that would work hard to attack Russia if the attempts to break the Soviet Union and the Russian federation apart fail.
It was created to create conflicts and fight wars ( not to eliminate ) wars
