1) Those things camouflaging as life vests on most commercial vessels are toys and shouldn’t be trusted with your life.

2) Insist on not going on bodies of water if you don’t have your own high quality individually fitted life jacket that has a crotch strap.

You’ll just die wrongfully and they’ll carry your body go police station. Water is unforgiving,

Why go on water excursion at this rainy season when ocean tide is high?

Were they all on life jacket, and if yes, were they life jacket valid or expired?

Did they overload the boat or not?

We need to look into all these and more in order to avoid a repeat ... These types of deaths are avoidable....

One thing is certain in this life, you'll never see me on a boat, canoe not even ship cos i hate riding on any body of water, i can't waka ontop big bridge e.g 3rd mainland bridge, the night my car broke down on the 3rd mainland bridge, i thought that was my end, it was scary asf i no fit step out of the vehicle till dem epp me fix am finish. Even in my dreams im afraid of big bridge.

My brother, a life jacket will keep you afloat on water for days. Any jacket that can't perform this primary function is NOT a Life Jacket.
