Life does need to be this hard for Nigerians, I'm afraid. For while we read that from the sweat of our brows shall we eat, many still look up to the heavens for their daily bread. UK learnt from hunger, so we just might learn too.

60% of our budget is going for debt servicing It would reach 100% if we are not careful by 2026. Subsidy makes matters worse by creating a hole in the budget called a deficit, which can only be filled by....taking more loans. |
