SaharaReporters had exclusively reported that Emefiele named Bawa as an accomplice in the Naira redesign scam that rocked the country some months ago.Did Bawa also stop emefiele from printing enough Naira notes to replace the withdrawn ones? Emefiele is the big fish here. He may have betrayed the trust of Bawa when he trusted his request for request of Naira redesign on the ground of politicians stocking notes to votes. |

iHateFraudsters: If true, sources have it that he was assured of soft landing. Also there were strong reasons to stay back and clean up a lot before end of his tenure. But he reportedly actually made a move to take off after the suspension. 1 Like |

iHateFraudsters: The truth is he saw it coming only him knows reason he decided to stay behind. A northern Governor close to BAT made the announcement even before Buhari left office that he will pay for all he did, he openly made the threat and Emefiele still stay behind, I believe he is only going to be humiliated and nothing else. There is no way he goes to jail because it will expose a lots of fraud that will indict Buhari. The fact he work under Buhari directly covered a lot of his asses so he will be left off the hook just trying to repay him back. He also doesn't enjoy goodwill from masses but they will free him, 3 Likes |
