In 2019, the highest numbers of arrests of suspects of drug abuse were carried out in both Katsina and Bauchi with both over 600 arrests, according to the special area command of Nigeria. Kano, Jigawa, Abia, and Plateau reported between 400 and 600 arrests in the same year. Areas with the least reported arrests were Nassarawa, Yobe, Combe, Sokoto, and Ekiti with less than 80 arrests each.

It's laughable because this comparison is dumb. Anambra with it's paltry meagre population still managed to find itself in list of states pushing drug. We can make an exemption for Kano and Bauchi states because of their high population. But anambra with it's meagre population? This only means one in every 5 person from Anambra is a drug addict
