A wailing mother has narrated how a man defiled her five-year-old daughter, and is demanding justice.

The suspect, Bright Okutuoma has been however arrested by policemen attached to the Rumuni Police Station of Rivers State Police Command - for allegedly defiling a five-year-old girl around the Ibaa community, in Emohua Local Government Area of the state.

According those familiar with the story, Okutuoma was at home when he requested the assistant of his neighbour’s daughter to buy a sachet of water.

The victim’s mother, while at the Cool/Wazobia/Info fm in the Port Harcourt area of the state, narrated the events that led to the alleged defilement of her daughter by Okutuoma and demanded justice.

Speaking in the company of her husband and daughter at the station, the mother of the minor said when her daughter returned with the sachet of water, Okutuoma took her into his flat and allegedly defiled her.

The aggrieved mother said after her neighbour perpetrated the crime, he told her daughter she would die if she informed anybody about the illicit act, adding that she got to know her daughter had been defiled when her school teacher observed blood stains on her pants...

With all these rising cases of rape and sexual molestation,mothers are still losing guard over their young daughters and their association with neighbors.Parents, not only the women, should watch their children like a hawk, monitor their movements and associations with family friends and neighbours, because rape is often perpetrated by people you know.
As for the animal who defiled the poor girl,he deserves to rot in jail.

At the same vein mother's should stop sending the little children out to hawk, they are seen as prey in the hands of these men.

This is the right thing to be done. But the victim need voices and backup because with the story, the Police are already trying to frustrate her effort in seeking justice all because of money.

the poor fool that could not afford CWAY water is now offering 500k? so he had such money and could not pay a cheap girl 10 - 20k for hookup?
Let them put his balls in a G-CLAMP and do the needful.

Am more annoyed by the action of the police, attempting to Bribe the mum of the victim with 500k to kill d report, and forget the issue than the criminal who raped the victim
