There is already increment in the electricity tarrif. I observed last two years when I got my prepaid meter, it was ₦49 per unit. Last year they increased to ₦57 per unit. In this present year, it has been increased to ₦67 per unit. This is what I'm currently paying in Lagos with a proof. When you critically examine this, there's already an increment existing in the electricity tarrif. Which one again is "propose Increase in electricity tarrif". That means with 40% increment effective from July 1st, we will be paying an estimation of ₦96 per unit. Please share the situation in your area and let's stop this scam. Enough is enough from this electricity company |
