Many women wonder if a man's penis size can be judged by certain physical characteristics of the man -- Such as foot size, hand size, and nose size. A study showed that there was no correlation between having large feet and having a large penis. But there may actually be some correlation with a Man's Hands.

It's been proven that low levels of fetal blood testosterone during the fetal process can produce small micropenises. If such a condition is discovered soon enough, adding testosterone to the infant's serum can increase the size of his penis so that he does not live life with a mircopenis. Certainly, testosterone has important growth effects on the penis. This includes during the fetal months, as well as at puberty.

The fetus starts to create its own testosterone while in the mother. But the growth of the fetus is also affected by the levels of testosterone in her blood, too.

"Digit Ratio" is a scientific field where scientists look at the lengths of the fingers (or digits) of a person. The difference in digit lengths and their ratio to other digits has proven to have physical, emotional, and mental effects on the people who were scientifically measured.

The most common of the Digit Ratios, that have been studied, is the 2D:4D ratio. This is the second digit (index finger) and the fourth digit (the ring finger). If you look at these two digits on a person's hand and compare their length you come up with a 2D:4D Ratio.

This ratio can be defined in one of three ways:

The Second Digit is Shorter (in length) than the Fourth Digit.
The Second Digit is the same length as the Fourth Digit.
The Second Digit is Longer than the Fourth Digit.

It has been scientifically shown that increased natal testosterone levels are directly related to the fourth digit being longer than the second digit.

People with longer fourth digits are typically more athletic, more aggressive, and more assertive. It has also been shown to affect sperm count, heart disease, sexuality, and a myriad of other factors in the human being; as well as affecting their personality and physical characteristics.

Since we know that low levels of fetal testosterone can lead to micropenises, then would it be safe to postulate that increased levels of natal testosterone may lead to a larger penis?

I examined the photographs of five random adult film stars famous for their penis size:

John Holmes
Ron Jeremy
Lexington Steele
Justin Long
BOZ

All had a longer Fourth Digit than their Second Digit.

The only celebrity, that I am aware of, who brags about having a small penis is Howard Stern. His Second Digit is Longer than his Fourth Digit. There are pictures of his hand being tattooed that reveal this.

What does this conclude? Not much, really, without doing a larger sample. But the 2D:4D ratio may have a relation to penis size. Maybe someone who reads this article can get a Government Grant to explore this theory. It would be interesting to garner overall finger length, then correlate the differential between the 2nd and 4th digits, and see if there is a relation to penis size.
