With over 60 years of ruling Nigeria, they're still the most miserable region in the world. Now that Tinubu has removed their feeding bottle, I wonder how their situation will be.

Why is the north poor?

Fulani rulership dominance with their imposing religion is the only problem. The North needs help and their problems are the incompetent and heartless wicked Fulanis flooding their political space. What the Fulanis (majority of northern leaders) do is channel all Nigerian resources to their brothers in other countries and in the forest. If you doubt me, ask Niger Republic what Buhari did for them and how he planned to hide in their country should there be wahala for him in Nigeria, because no place is better than home. They were using our subsidised petrol to feed their people in other countries. Their senators and house of assembly members also don't do anything in their constituency other than to channel the money out of Nigeria to their brothers somewhere else.

The Fulanis are the major course of Nigeria's problem. No one else other than them.

The only thing poor about the North is the extent of its autonomy under this federal setup

I don't like going tribal but, why did Igbos in the North claim Northern identity when a bunch of jobbers gave them an ultimatum? You don't identify with a wasteland do you?

Then why has the Federal Government tagged them "educationally disadvantaged" over the decades?

Why do a State in that region has 2 has its cutoff mark to be admitted into a federal government college while a kid from somewhere in the south is expected to score 139 for the same admission?
