This govt is already proving to be professionals at propaganda and selling Nigerians Lies upon lies Lol.. They are announcing suspending the Telecoms Excise tax in the meantime to reintroduce it in September but the irony is that the previous govt already exempted Telecoms from the tax. A govt that has imposed 7.5 VAT percent tax, increased electricity tariffs, removed subsidies on Education, Petrol and Electricity announcing this suspension now but the real intention is to bring it back in September lol
This is how he ran Lagos. With lies and propaganda. They are never tired

Why till September?

Don't even talk about it till next year. Especially taxing Telecoms that have already been over taxed already.

Give people enough time to breathe and assimilate into no subsidy regime before compounding their problems.

Nah you are not updated on this. The Finance Act which Buhari signed on 28th May 2023 reintroduced the 5% excise tax on telecommunication services and is already in force as at today.

It is that Finance Act that has now been deferred to 1 September 2023, so the telecommunications excise tax too is either deferred till then or suspended outright depending on legal interpretation.

He only postpone our suffering just for some weeks, he dear not challenge the foreign organisation that command him to do so. But when the same foreign bodies challenged the legitimade of government due to fraud electoral process, they now wake up to defend sovereignty of our nation, but inflicting pains on Nigeria they are right and can meddled to our affairs.
