Pls I want to know, I went to VFS abuja on 27th June to submit passport of family of 5 Canada, on Monday 3rd July I received a mgs that 4 out of the 5 passport is been courier but have not gotten it yet , my as the principal when I try to track the id is saying is on under process. Pls can anyone advice what to do.

Please has anyone ever successfully do their Medicals without their international passport physical copy? I have just the data page and other means of identification.


Recently got a visiting visa VFS is yet to return my passport since June 22 of paying for it. I noticed they’ve increased the fee now could this be a reason

I’m now applying for work permit and my Medicals has been requested to be submitted within 30 days.

Anyone has any related info concerning this issue?

Hello everyone, please who has the idea of when vfs do confirm they receive package.. My wife sent her passport yesterday morning and DHL confirmed delivery this morning around 9am but she is yet to hear anything from vfs

I hope I'm not overasking lol. But I love the fact that everybody here is really engaging and quick to help out. I have gotten my own email for pick up so what do we do next since we both have gotten our mail. Do we just go tommorow and pick up? Is there any other follow up mail on the IRCC website ? Abi we should just go and collect.

Also when I track it says it's ready at the CVAC. But why does it also say pick up in person is not allowed till further notice? Is that a recent development ? When we submitted on the 30th of June, we saw a lot of people that came to pick up in person. We reside in Abj and it's in Abj so why do we need to do courier when we can go ourselves?

Process of Adjusting a visa status. You go to one of the borders (US/Canada) to change status from say visit visas to Work permit for instance. It's usually done at the US /Canada border at New Brunswick, or the one at Mississauga , ON.

The process entails the US border immigration and customs officers has to refute your application, then you take the "rejection letter" back to the Canadian border and apply there. They would need to see proof , say offer letter of employment, LMIA number from your employer (this usually comes with your job offer letter) etc. , There they would accept to change the status in your favour. Stickers would be placed in your passport, and handed back to you.
