If you read few pages back. You’d see how those who submitted via dhl are complaining. I’d advise she checks again for another opening for in-person submission. The dates change frequently.

I have issues with two IMMforms
1
I couldn’t sign Two of the IMM forms on adobe
So I printed it out and signed it then I scan it back and change it to pdf

2. I couldn’t fill the details on adobe then validate it
So I printed this out and fill it with black pen and scan it back to pdf

My question is it allowed

Can I go ahead and submit the application or is there other way to do these electronically instead of the manual approach I adopted?

The best way to sign the forms
1.) Install Adobe acrobat reader on your machine.
2.) Open the form and complete it (typing all the necessary information in the form). Download the IMM form instead. If you have the old internet explorer you use it to open it and download it to complete the form.
3.) Upon completing the form, crosscheck everything is correct then scroll to the bottom of the page.
4.) There is a "Validate" button at the bottom of the page. Click it, it should prompt with a message , "Validate completed successfully" then it should generate a barcode. Save the file as pdf and upload to that area where the IMM forms are.

That's how it's done.

P.S use Adobe Reader DC for it to work properly.

I submitted with dhl and I know the visa has been issued because my portal was updated.

I don’t have a tracking number and I haven’t received any mail for pick up yet.

Can I go to vfs lagos for pick up?

If yes, what documents do I need to go with?

Yes you can pickup in person. Go with photocopy of your int’l passport n write your tracking number on it. Time is 12-2pm but I will advise you go early to get slot, the queue can wait time can be frustrating.

Guys if you submit by DHL, make sure you keep your DHL receipt well. You will need it for collection.

If you misplace it, DHL MIGHT not give you another one and this VFS people will not answer you.

Very well then. What you would do is to type your Full name.
That settles it.

No , Not at all. They still use both. Just after sometime, its advisable to follow up and let them know you applied using that portal.

I paid 18710 for the courier services back.I also paid 9930 as the transmission fee for my daughter.All documents printed and signed.the passports and documents will in the same envelope.I planned going to DHL to send it tomorrow.I hope I am not missing anything...I want to be sure that the fees have not changed......

There are 2 ways to apply for a Canada visa, either through the old or the new portal. Based on applicants' comments, you will get decision quicker if you use the new portal than using the old one. Below is the link for the new portal.

Book the July 28, then check the appointment page frequently to look for a new appointment date to reschedule. You will definitely see one

I flew to Abuja this morning to pick up my passport from the VERY incompetent VFS because i have an urgent trip to the UK tonight.
Passport came back from the Visa offixe since 26th June and i paid upfront for courier back to me, filled and sent the SMS forms , countless calls and unreplied emails, yet my passport was buried in a heap of passports, all my emails unread and unreplied. They havent even opened or acknowledged the first email i sent that had reciept of 18,710 talk more of sorting my passport for dispatch to me.
I got my pasaport from them in about 2 hours as they were UNDERSTAFFed (only one person handling collections) and flew back to lagos.

Now return ticket money to abuja plus 18,710 all wasted .

Please did you get an email that your passport was ready for collection before going to Abuja. This is my dilemma. It's been 3weeks since I sent my passport
