Buddha3:Nigeria would be balkanised regardless, and with the way things are going, there's simply no way to keep Nigeria intact. Either you have equality, where all peoples are treated equally and carried along as such, or you have what you currently have in Nigeria. Which is, everyone against Igbo people, while at the same time, trying to force them to stay in the country. |

rdokoye:I'm not disputing the lack of balance, equality and fairness that has been made manifest between the three major tribes since 1999. I am one of the very proponents for an Igbo Presidency, though I'm from the South South. And a lot of my people share the same sentiments. I'm simply telling you the bare facts as regards the reality on ground. The South East is the only region that is landlocked all round, without any boundaries leading out of the country. There's no way you'll seperate the Igbo states for them to have their sovereignty without having to attach at least one South South state to them. And the possibility of any Niger Delta state joining the Igbos in Biafra is bluntly non-existent as of now. |

rdokoye:The man is pure evil, but even i will thank him if even its just 'your 5 landlocked south-east states' that leave! A lot of arrogant 'one Nigerianists' are too smug in their arrogance and assume too much! They will be shocked....all we want is for them to, out of hate, set the ball rolling and the rest will follow! |

GreatBoss:This your map always cracks me up anytime i see it! Did you sit down with Buhari to decide which parts are Ijaw and which parts are not!? I vividly remember after he stupidly made that 'dot in a circle' quip, few days afterwards Diette-Spiff visted him with a few other Ijaw tagging along, and all were grinning from ear to ear! ![]() |

SpecialAdviser:A referendum for Igbo to secede will pass. It's just like during the NCNC days with southern Cameroon. It became obvious that nothing the eastern region did was going to change their mind. However, while we hope that an independent igboland will be good, the reality involves work and reasoning that I haven't seen so far in us as a people. Building 21st century cities and growing an economy is different from agitation. Most southern Cameroonians I have met (and I have met many) regret leaving Nigeria. |

Buddha3:The imo river and river niger would be international waters if the south east becomes a country. It means we would have right to use those water bodies since we border them. Planes can fly out of the east, following the water course (hard but realistic). Barges can sail containers through it too (would need dredging)

Buddha3:The South East is not landlocked, as it has access to the sea via several rivers that flow through Abia, Imo & Anambra state. A landlocked nation, is one that is completely surrounded by land, and thus, has no way of accessing the sea - which isn't the case with the South East. But that's beside the point, an Igbo nation would technically exist within Nigeria, which shouldn't be a problem, as it isn't a problem in South Africa, with Eswatini (formally Swaziland). And there in lies the issue. Igbo people exist within Nigeria, but Nigeria doesn't want to give Igbo folks equality, and when the issue of separation is brought up, the same problems persist. It's, you have a nation, but we'll prevent you from accessing the sea or it's, you exist in Nigeria, and we'll prevent you from gaining people - totally irrational. Something has got to give. |

| Re: Asari Dokubo To Collect One Million Signatures For FG To Begin Secession Of Igbo by rdokoye: 3:57am On Jul 08, 2023 |
LOVEALAIGBO:Exactly, Igbo people are the glue that binds Nigeria together. Without Igbo folks, most ethnic nations within Nigeria would rather go it alone - I think they'd have far more success that way. A Nigeria devoid of Igbo people would just be another Benin or Niger Republic with 100+ million poor people. Moreover, this evilness tends to be a general Nigerian issue. Too much wickedness and too much wicked people in Nigeria. |
| Re: Asari Dokubo To Collect One Million Signatures For FG To Begin Secession Of Igbo by rdokoye: 4:01am On Jul 08, 2023 |
Razgas:Every ethnic nation within Nigeria would do better as its own independent nation. How exactly has Igbo people benefited from being in Nigeria? A country where they experience heavy discrimination? You're reasoning sounds illogical. |

Creamypie:Well they will definitely NEED VISAS to enter OUR COUNTRY NIGERIA. These folks won't even survive JUST 2 months after secession.......They will now start begging AS USUAL! Beggie Beggie ppl dem! |
| Re: Asari Dokubo To Collect One Million Signatures For FG To Begin Secession Of Igbo by Nobody: 4:26am On Jul 08, 2023 |
rdokoye:my reasoning doesn't sound illogical because there is no reasoning in the first place. I made a statement of fact that the South Cameroonians wish they never left Nigeria. Read and understand, then reply |
| Re: Asari Dokubo To Collect One Million Signatures For FG To Begin Secession Of Igbo by onumadu: 4:40am On Jul 08, 2023 |
rdokoye:QED. And the problem is that it is like a virus spreading anyhow. Things I see in Igboland these days baffle me: They are the type of things Igbo ancestors would be shocked to witness. It is as if wickedness is the only thing spreading in Nigeria. Every other indices of national progress, i.e POSITIVE AND PROGRESSIVE CULTURE is dead in Nigeria. All you have is HATE and WICKEDNESS. As some point, something must give. That last presidential election presented Nigeria with a rare opportunity to re-launch the country to positivity, but at the last minute, EVIL people snatched it, and their disciples are now all over the internet and media houses trying to pretend that they won the election, and that the actual winners are the losers. They are changing the narrative, spinning all manner of lies and changing statistics anyhow. How can Nigeria be considered a successful experiment? But like the inimitable Igbo ancestors aptly articulated in a proverb: "Ije ekwero ojije, o ya ekweriri onuna" (Anambra Igbo). I won't translate it. ![]() |

It would have been better if the North was the one yearning to leave. Nigerians should stop deceiving themselves. The only region with a very very different lifestyle socially, culturally, psychologically, educationally, religiously from the other regions of Nigeria is the core North. The West, South South and East are SIMILAR in thier way of life. |

Razgas:It really requires work. And I believe Igbos will be able to achieve that. They already have ingenuity and industriousness in them which you cannot find among Southern Cameroon. What Igbos will need after secession is a very good leader. Till today the problem of Igbo land is leadership, no thanks to Nigerian factor. If Igbos seccede and vote in the right leader, the start may be challenging but they will somount the challenge and come out strong at last. I believe they can do it. |

Creamypie:You talk like a kid, is the agitation for Biafran the same as agitation for SE states? Have you ever ask yourself the meaning SS, when it happens in the NW, NE or NC central, we refer it as North but when it happens in the SE,SW,SS we create pick ethnic group. It seems we hate each other for real even to our family members. Anybody that uses a mere geographical creation to create acrimonies between brothers and sisters is evil and will die a terrible death. |

Rolings:Maga. Who is sending emissaries? For as long as you have not granted the referendum, the Igbos have the rights to go make money anywhere. Jealousy kii you dia. While Igbos make their money, your people are left in reeling poverty. The big question to you is why you have failed to courageously allow referendum. Asari nonesense talk is nothing but the same mo.ronic attitude displayed by you and your stvpid unity beggars. To dare is to do. Grant the gaddam referendum for once Mr man. Who get una time sef |
