Egypt still pays fuel subsidy. Egypt increased their electricity generation and are self sufficient. No need to buy generator to power home or run a business in Egypt.
Nigeria economy is powered by petrol because 5,000 megawatts is a drop in the ocean. And you think an increase in price of petrol won't have ripple effects.
