You talked about the service chiefs and MDAs, where the story is the same. Yoruba Chief of Army Staff, Yoruba IGP, Yoruba Commander of Brigade of Guards. Yoruba ADC even (OBJ's ADC was from Benue, GEJ's ADC was from Kogi), Yoruba Customs, Yoruba CBN. Come on.

I have pointed out that a person chooses those close to him as special advisers. If Uba was close to Obasanjo and Goodluck trusted Gulak, then so be it. It is based on the same principle of trust. At the end of the day, these persons (special advisers) exist solely to have a relationship with the president and are not answerable to Nigerians in any way. So the president should be free to choose whoever he likes as advisers. If he wants, he should even choose a parrot, knowing that he will be solely responsible for the advice he acts on from them.

As for military appointments, you are mixing issues. There are service chiefs which include:

Chief of Defense Staff
Chief of Army Staff
Chief of Naval Staff
Chief of Air Staff

You may then add the IGP although he is not a service chief.

These positions were fairly distributed with a slight SW bias which is somewhat justifiable when you consider the fact that the south west has been excluded from these positions for years.

The last Yoruba IGP was Tafa Balogun who left in 2005. That is nearly 20 years.
There has not been a single Yoruba CAS in the post-99 democratic era.

Then you have other appointments that were made within the military structure that cannot be ranked with the service chiefs.
These are such as the commander of the brigade of guards, and others such as the ADCs who are directly in charge of the president and vice president's security. There were six major appointments made in this area, Commander BoG FCT, Commander BoG Nassarrawa, commander BoG, Niger, Commander, State house intelligence, Commander State House armaments, and Commander State House Artillery.

These positions and their deputies were evenly split between Yorubas and the NW. Obviously, this is to ensure that Tinubu and Shettima feel safe.

But again, just like with advisers, you may not necessarily question the president's choices of who to protect himself and his deputy. They should choose those who they are most comfortable with.

These positions are also significantly inferior to the service chiefs and should not be grouped with them for comparison.

So, any way as I said, Nigerians should look at the Service Chiefs and MDAs. service chiefs have been reasonably handled. Now let's see how it goes with the MDAs.

APC & INEC are not required to prove anything. INEC has conducted the election, declared a winner and published the results. What other proof are you looking for. LP & PDP as the complaining parties need to prove and provide concrete evidence that the results published by INEC are not correct substantially. Tendering boxes of documents is not proof. Who do they expect to extract the proof from all the boxes. The justices? If they did not analyze all the documents in the boxes to extract the required proof, they have failed in my opinion.
