Lagos lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana, has called on President Bola Tinubu to lead the anti-corruption campaign.

The fiery lawyer said this at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti on Monday, at the celebration of 60 years of Aare Babalola at the bar.

He said the nation was yet to be free from the tenterhooks of corruption as indicted politicians accused of corrupt practices are still parading the corridors of power.

In his words: “Let’s the President lead an anti-corruption crusade, as right now we are in trouble as a country.

“Let’s go back to the era where people who have being involved in corruption and looting cannot take part in the decision-making process of the country”.

Falana also urged the government to desist from religious discrimination.

“In places where there are mosques but not church, let the Christians go to court as it is an act of discrimination,” he said.

Furthermore, he urged citizens of the country to realise and take advantage of their rights: “When a person is killed one can sue the Government to punish the offender or to pay a fee as compensation.”

For 63 years we’ve been fighting corruption and there’s nothing to show for it. Every administration is always fighting this corruption. What a country !

The same question I asked Helinues this morning and he is still have a seizure of the mouth with no answer. A confirmed certificate forger, identity theft specialist, bullion vans criminal, election rigger and narcotic running criminal can never and will never fight corruption.

He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. Where's Tinubus clean hands?
I mean how would he campaign against corruption with all the controversies surrounding his existence .

Would though be happy if he successfully tackles corruption but I doubt the credibility

Anyone involved in corruption case one way or the other should not be allowed in national decision making. Imagine, Orji uzo Kalu who spent time in jail for no good reason was vying for senateP, Fayose, Tinubu, Atiku, Obi, Ganduje, Fayemi, Bagudu, etc who all have history of corruption are still at the fore front of democratic race.

These guys are negative motivation and moral burden against democratic development.

You may not like Him, but definitely the policies he has set in place shows His direction.
