Just but a new pump or tokunbo,Repairing it won’t work,I just changed mine 3 weeks ago .Honda Accord 09…the Igbo guy have to put 3 different pump before d last one works perfectly

Sounds like what I am going through now....

Waiting for some "consignment" to get a good pump.

I thought Electric power steering pump should be more durable?

When buying a new pump, always go to the parts shop with your mechanic and let him fix the pump there.

Proper bleeding is very important. The steering should be turned severally while the engine is not running.

If the steering is not soft as it should be, don't pay for it. The seller may tell you to go, that the steering will be soft as you use it. Na scam. It must be soft at once if the pump is good.

Also ensure you always use the proper power steering fluid so your pump can last. Na bad fluid dey spoil pump mostly.

Well am not car incline, got my car toks and had to change the electrical power steering for 80k . Till date , no issue

bought one for my accord last week.. worked very fine but i notice sometimes it becomes a little bit harder to turn. but most times the steering works perfectly fine. Pls what might be d cause.

Experiencing same issue right now but mine turned out to be from a faulty engine seat and I’m currently waiting on an order for a new one

I don't think faulty engine mount has anything to do with Power Steering pump.

Could be the steering rack or the pump itself.

I started noticing some changes in the steering and I I hear weird sound from the gear box area and steering when driving so I figured it had to be a steering problem until I gave it to a mechanic. It’s a 2018 Honda Civic

When changing steering pump ,you also can kits the steering rack as well

seems my 2007 Honda civic is using this Eletric power steering too. It dies not have resourvier for power steering fluid

Post the engine bay pictures. I drive that car and it has power steering reservoir

My Honda civic 2007 is using Electric power steering too. gets stiff often recently, when u switch off the car shakes the steering, it becomes free. I want to check it out..
