Army majorly deal with external threats as they must preserve the territorial integrity of the nation. But for them to intervene internally, they need a series of permissions from the state governors.

To me it is better to release Kanu and give him a stake as given to other agitators like Asari and Igboho. Invasion is like treating symptom whereas the disease stays untreated .
