jackcanfield:Do law enforcement agents shoot in populated areas where there may be heavy civilian casualties? Just asking because am not a military or paramilitary person! Now the drug baron escaped, an officer was knocked down in d process and an innocent child has lost his life while another child is fighting for his life in d hospital. How do u console the parents? The whole operation smells of unprofessionalism! |

On my road trip to Delta last few years, our vehicle was checked by NDLEA officials. One of their boys who was red-eyed was evidently high. I simply shook my head. Imagine drug users working for NDLEA. Nigeria is in need of a reset. |

What was at stake? From the report it's clear the drug dealers were not armed. So why did your officers decided to kill Nigerians? Lack of professionalism. If you're chasing an unarmed suspect if you can't chase him down then retreat and plan again using Intel. |

Positive comment? You mean, don't criticise the useless police or what da fork ever they call themselves EFCC. You are clearly supporting these murderers. |

Your NDLEA officers came to arrest corner boys adjacent to the legislative quarters, Asaba. While shooting at unarmed drug peddlers indiscriminately, a stray bullet struck two children that just came back from school in their mum’s shop. Killing the first, a four year old boy on the spot and leaving shrapnel in the eye of the second, a two year old girl! Children that came after their parents patiently waited over a seven year period for the fruit of the womb, Nigeria in one fell swoop, has happened live & direct to them! They weren’t on the road oo, they were playing in their mother’s shop still in their uniforms! And after sowing sorrow, blood & tears, not a single drug dealer was apprehended in the end. So what did the NDLEA finally achieve there?? ![]() |

As far as there was no exchange of fire which NDLEA have not disputed, those kids were killed by their bullets. |

There is nothing in the world called a stray bullet. Stray Bullet is merely a term by Nigerian security agencies to avoid accountability. Bullets do not stray. They are fired from a gun. There is exoneration allowed if a government agent fires a bullet in the course of his duty and mistakenly kills an unintended person. The flip side is the government becomes financially liable to the persons family. For a Gun to be fired or shot, all of the following must be done: 1. Chamber a Round 2. Release Safety 3. Point the Gun 4. Move finger to Trigger 5. Then fire the gun How will a bullet STRAY with all these? But Nigerian security agencies run around with chambered guns with safety turned off and their finger INSIDE the trigger guard. If they stop doing these things, 80% of stray bullet incidence from them will disappear, and they wont have to be issuing these funny press statements. Sometimes, these killings come from the guns of the criminals, but the security agencies are quick to just term it stray bullet in order not to conduct investigation |

Very useless set of people, you find more drug users and dealers among them than the people they claim to be chasing, a car hit one your men and the best thing to do is to fire at the car as if the does not have a vehicle number or the car cannot be chase by your operational vehicle, or you guys don't have petrol. very unprofessional set of idiots, you keep chasing the small fish while the big ones parade the government houses and the international airports, if not why is Buba Marwa still in that office, is it his personal property? because they will tell us he is very active, he should resign let some other active person come and take over. who the hell does these criminals think they are sef? after being a governor of Lagos state, serve at other Military positions, you now retire and back into government as NDLEA boss, i beg get out of the office jare. |
