If there's a country called Biafra, all these lands or purported lands won't be ceded to Cameroon. Biafra know it territories and bounds but I think Nigeria in general doesn't care. All they care is the "unity of Nigeria is non- negotiable". But the same Nigeria don't care when it's mass hectare of land is being ceded to another country.

According to Nigeria system of geomapping, Cross river state is even south east of Nigeria more than the 5 Igbo States.

It's beats the imagination of geography to refer that state as South South.

Only in Nigeria!!!

Useless country losing territories in a kangaroo court like the Hague is a sign of weakness if not for corruption we should be taking that peninsula back even if it means using force. huh

Lols...

The land is useless, if the human resources are absent...

Nigeria has no respect for their human resources. That's why everyone that has struggled to be independent of the Nigerian system, wants to be no part of the nonsense they call governance.

Know this: Bakassi was part of a deal. And having the dumb werey we have in political offices, eediots with no values or vision for their charges, spreading our legs wide open... smh

I weak jor...

Crisis is written all over this practice..

Lol Cameroon don turn to Land Grabber...
Cross River is arguably one of the top 5 biggest states in Nigeria, by landmass. The vegetative spread of the state is such that about 50 percent of its landmass is uninhabited and unexplored. It forests is home to certain animals that are even considered to be extinct in other parts of the world. And it had once been reported that globally, the largest collection of rare butterflies are only found in some forest in Akamkpa LGA of the state.

My point exactly? There are villages sitting on the borderlines between Cross River and Cameroon, where government presence is nonexistent. These people live in settlements buried between forests, and considering the lackadaisical attitude of our leaders towards the Country, it often comes as no surprise that the Cameroonians are able to penetrate these villages and eventually lay more claims. I've been to a village in Boki East of Cross River where the inhabitants spoke more french than any of our Nigerian languages. So it's not necessarily about land grabbing by the Cameroon government, sometimes these villages even prefer to belong to the other country since they're being totally neglected by their own government.

Exactly my thought if we're to be the president of this country that would be my first agenda even if it means using force.
Only in nigeria where a stupid court in Holland will be deciding territories for us, bad leaders have really destroyed this country.

Obasanjo was actually a weakling to have allowed Cameroon collect Bakassi from Nigeria so easily .

Imagine Cameroonian Soildiers shot and gunned down hundreds of Nigerian Soildiers down and the matter was settled in Court with Nigeria losing the case .....

If only we are ruled by Putin and have some Nuclear weapons, by now Cameroon for don de collect Ukraine treatment for daring to mess with her big brother

These Cameroonians are not smart, why can't they come take Biafra, we would even hold a state banquet them and declare two-week national holiday.

The crotchety Obasanjo made an infamous decision to cede Nigeria's land to Cameroon, without recourse to the legislature. Now the die is cast, who will be the cat?

I was thinking water separates Nigeria and Cameroon.

Though in some of these places, our telecom network is not too accessible.

There's no water body between Nigeria and Cameroon. From Chad in the North to Cross River in the South, all of it is land borders.

And you're correct. Telecom network is nonexistent in so many settlements along the borderlines between Nigeria and Cameroon.
