With the recent confirmation of outbreak of anthrax in Suleja, Niger State, Nigeria as well as in other West African countries, there is therefore a need for vigilance by members of the public to prevent further spread of the deadly bacteria. The deadly bacteria is commonly spread by the eating of infected or contaminated animals or animal products, and inhalation of contaminated air. There hasn't been any reports of fish and fish products being agents of spread for the bacteria. The general public is hereby placed on alert.
