Those psychiatric hospitals they want to build in the sad east must be quickened. I cannot understand how people can be so mentally unstable. Awon ipob self……madness plenty for that side.
Alot of Obidients would need to be placed on suicide watch. If you think the election heartbreak was bad for obidients and IPOB members, you wait till the tribunal rules in favour of Tinubu as expected.

Section 299 of the constitution of 1999 as Amended, the FCT shall be considered as a state of the federation, & accordingly be regarded as same anywhere else in the constitution, what more is there to say?

Sometimes I just wonder for the oblivious Obidients.

Let's say we agree that F.C.T should be treated as other states of the federation; who's the governor of F.C.T?
Where's the legislature of F.C.T?

My question is; the "AND" in section 299 of the constitution is it
conjunctive or disjunctive?

Any way you choose answer the above question will still result to sacking of Tinubu by the the tribunal 😂😂😂
Cry all you want, insult obidients from now till next year, the law remains the law.
Re: Tribunal Must Rule Against Tinubu Or Suspend The Constitution by Mozino007(m): 9:51pm On Jul 17, 2023

Tinubu's lead counsel Wole Olanipekun based his argument on section 299 of the constitution in his final written address in defence of the 25% requirement in F.C.T.
which states that F.C.T should be treated as any other state of the federation.

I also see a lot of Tinubu supporters on this forum echoing the same position but what they don't know is that the same section 299 they love to quote will be used to sack Tinubu.
Here's the complete section:
Section 299.
The provisions of this Constitution shall apply to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja as if it were one of the States of the Federation; and accordingly -

(a) all the legislative powers, the executive powers and the judicial powers vested in the House of Assembly, the Governor of a State and in the courts of a State shall, respectively, vest in the National Assembly, the President of the Federation and in the courts which by virtue of the foregoing provisions are courts established for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja;

(b) all the powers referred to in paragraph (a) of this section shall be exercised in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution; and

(c) the provisions of this Constitution pertaining to the matters aforesaid shall be read with such modifications and adaptations as may be reasonably necessary to bring them into conformity with the provisions of this section.

The "AND" that is preceding "accordingly"
in section 299; is it interpreted
as conjunctive?
or
as disjunctive ?

grin grin
If it's interpreted as conjunctive then F.C.T should have a governor and a state legislature just as every other state.

if it's interpreted as disjunctive then it only applies to the administration of the F.C.T and the composition of it's courts and has no bearing with it's status during election; meaning a presidential candidate most secure 25% of votes cast in the F.C.T

Obi is coming

Since it is not interpreted as conjunctive, then Tinubu is going back home. The only hope he has now is for the judiciary to suspend the constitution under the guise of technicalities.

And if you saw the videos of Obidients in rallies and campaigns leading up to the elections and you really believe this your 'teenage' jib, then my friend, your sense of judgement should be sold for free 👍
Still on result, i take it you didnt know there are temporary results printed before the original copies are issued ...
Before Waec issued original result copy most of us used the temporary issued certificate by schools, does it mean it was fake or forged
There was a time INEC issued temporary voters card before the original, does it mean the temporary is fake
I remember using that temporary voters card at Mtn office, My question to you, what they submitted is it different from the original you saw cheesy

An example of a University that issues temporary results before the original copies are issued, thanks in advance.

For starters, secondary schools NEVER issue WAEC certificates, whether temporary 😁 or permanent. WAEC alone issues this and they do so ONCE. Maybe you mean something else.

It appears University protocol (and academic protocol as a whole) is a bit above your mind space so I'd spare you the torment.

Once Obi secures his mandate, all security personnel will have to be up and doing with excessive fitness. One thing for sure is he won't leave anything to chance. That one is the head of any parastatal will never give them opportunity to rest on their oars because Okwute can just breeze in and take stock at any time. Since he prefers to move about with small fanfare and Entourage, one can be taken unawares.

The people I pity most are his personal guards. He already has a receptive stance towards people and wouldn't tolerate any brutal force on them. One wonders how those personal guards will manage the organic crowds that swells around him whenever he makes a public appearance 😁

During the last edo guber campaigns, you carry obaseki matter for head, you cursed and insulted people from edo state that were abreast with first hand information about the situation on ground. you called obaseki many romantic names and likened him to Jesus christ, but here we are in 2023 and that same obaseki is the worse and most incompetent state governor the Nigerian democracy has ever produced.
