If the constitution mandates that to be president, you must win 25% of Abuja votes, then his election must be voided regardless of peace or violence in the country, the constitution must be upheld. On the North not voting for Southern candidates because of 25% since Abuja is in the North, that’s a very mayobic view. If that becomes an issue, then let’s amend the constitution. |

Kennydoc: Despite Buhari dominance in the North did he get the highest in FCT .. abuja does not reflect north choice Abuja being the capital as to be an epitome of "Civilization" which is what Core northerners shy away from the most. Northerners don't care much about what happens in FCT becos they see it as Lease to Nigeria, but the day we make that mistake and let FCT be the decider of who winss an election in Nig. that is the day North will start making moves to reclaim abuja fully ...North want dominance North don't joke with "Power" When northerners arise to take back Abuja who will stop them. Jlow2:Oga, I said the constitution should be throw away? The issue here is Abuja will be treated as a state and that is what will throw the case into the trash bin. Mark my words by God's grace. Obi has no case, he has failed to proved to court how he won, how is results were swap for another candidate. |

nairalandkachy1: The first culprit was INEC - court must order INEC to payback 350b that was given and I fine of 150b for for fraudulent activities and pretext. The second culprit was/is Tinubu- vacate office with immediate effect with fine of 100b. The third culprit was Atiku for robbing PDP presidential ticket with fine of 50b The fourt culprit was Obi for false claim of victory with a fine of 25b When the monies are collected it should be used to conduct fresh election Feb, 2024 with an interim government saddled with responsibility of 6months. I close this case as a judge. |

yinkkus: Funny thing is Obi initially said "I won the elections and I will prove it", yet his petition doesn't mention how he won. Petition focuses on disqualifying President Tinubu on certain grounds or wanting the elections cancelled primarily based on IREV blurred and incomplete results. So we really are wasting time having a discussion about reconciliation when Obi himself isn't looking for that. |
Re: Obi: Failure To Electronically Transmit Results Nullifies Presidential Election by sweetgala(m): 8:17am On Jul 23, 2023 |
casualobserver: Peter can not make such a frivolous claim, his intention is to either help his boss and mentor Atiku or to have the election nullified such that a new election can be conducted. The method Tinubu used to win PDP is now well evident, the division within PDP,the exit of Obi to build the obidient movement etc ensured APC won an election with <25% turnout with less than 9 million votes a very small percentage of the supposed 90 million registered voters. I must say that if this is Obi/ LP final submission it's a disappointingly poor legal argument. 1 Like |

Kog45:Guy shut your mouth up if you have nothing to say, I blame that mumu wey de follow you argue. Normally I don't quote Yoruba people in Nairaland because I know they have been brainwashed into falsehood and suffering, getting 25% in FCT is a law that wasn't written by Tinubu or Obi or even Atiku. The only social media platform you know is Nairaland, you haven't been following the Court process. I'm not an Igbo man neither am I a Yoruba man but the rule of law is the rule of law, no man is above the law. I'm sure you're suffering and Smailing that's why you're posting nonsense here with freebasics data. Go get a life you pi.g. you don't even have upto 200k in your account and you're here arguing on an empty stomach. |
