Pre season games are meaningless and doesn't tell or reflect anything.
That's wat we said when Arsenal knack us 4-0 + struggling against Club America and weaker teams last season

The emboldened is my point being made. He should do that more often. Drift infield and get more involved in the play. His geniuses would come alive.
He will. This is his first game under new manager and team so expect more of that play with Jackson and Nkunku.

I honestly thought he pushed the ball too much, but I changed my mind when I saw how he blew past the defender. Correct speed demon.

Just get me Caicedo. If you want Kudus, it's fine and it's a good headache for the manager. Na Gallagher problem be that, since e no Wan wise up.

And a Goalkeeper.

Ziyech, Odoi and Lakaka still need to be moved on.

Plus Raheem Strolling should better count his teeth with his tongue. Na Saudi e dey go like this.
Signing both caicedo and kudus will really be a big show of power to that small club Brighton thinking they can now drag shoulders with is because of ordinary ulokpa that we are tired of.
Which goalkeeper do you think we should sign cause I don't want anybody that will come and block slonina's progression to our first team.

Ben Thornley has a long-standing beef with Havertz for some reason. The guy has an unforgiving spirit.

🤣 two preseason games and sterling is done, Angelo isn't young anymore and should start.

Reality Angelo gets loaned out, Sterling starts as Chelsea's RW 😂😂 and with all his shaking leg and nonsense he scores and scores till they forget how much trash he pulled till he is sold next season for 60m or more 😎

Griffon:
TBH, Mudryk hasn’t been doing much as an inverted winger. He just has the potentials to be up there with the likes of Vini, Gnabry, etc but he’s not just there yet.

If he’s going to be anything or better than Vini, then he must know when to use his speed and skill to beat an opponent 1v1, he must know when to roam into those half spaces, he must know when to race in behind to finish off moves and score, lastly, he must also know when to prioritize chance creation and playing passes into the penalty area.

He’s entirely sold on runs and runs. That’s not what boys are doing now. The likes of Foden and Saka aren’t even scared to drift in-field and get involved in the play, but our boy prefers to hug the line more, we’re not living in the days of Gareth Bale anymore.
Mudryk runs runs runs huh? Vini got better with his decision making if I remember correctly, you re right Mudryk needs to learn and improve and I doubt na only runs Mudryk dey do, it might be the best accept of his game but surely not his only accept, he had a great game against Brighton make we chill for am na abi. And you don't know what Pochettino's instructions to him where

Porto's Diogo Costa.

BTW Kepa isn't long for this team, especially if he doesn't work on the fact that he doesn't sort his feet out in time to dive for long shots, meaning he keeps getting beaten by the same thing over and over.

The usual suspect, collecting 320k per week and mustn't waste on the bench.

The way Jackson was gingering his teammates where to pass etc, he looks like someone determined to succeed. His body language is just positive, even after the game when he was telling Enzo how to drop the pass over the top

The guy has Drogba’s mentality.

You can't be a true Chelsea fan and still be making excuses for Sterling.
That guy needs to go, I don't mind even if he is sold for as low as £1m.
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueMann: 6:26pm On Jul 23, 2023
Olise...wow.

And he reportedly has a £35m release clause
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Incognito9: 6:27pm On Jul 23, 2023
They said we have plenty players that we should offload!!
Boehly is selling and buying more, packing players up-and-down, what really irritates me is none of those players is a DM.

Wtf we go use olise do, when we have two to three players playing that position unless he want to offload sterling.

God go punish boehly If he didn't sign one DM in this TF.

I think our attack is okay, adding any player mean we have to offload.

My main concern is Dm, we're lacking badly. Just look at the match against Brighton, see the way we're conceding goals against 10 men Brighton. No protection for defence, they just run us through easily.

If the shorthand will be our GK this season, hmm smh

CF: Jackson, Broja
RW: Madueke, Angelo
LW: Sterling, Mudryk
CAM: Nkunku, Gallagher

this thing na we dey write am

From preseason it has been
CF: Jackson, Nkunku
RW: Angelo, Sterling
LW: Matseen, Mudryk
CAM: Chukwuemeka, Gallagher, Cesare

Madueke never play yet self, I feel Matseen should stay, but he and Gallagher may be sold, Cesare and Angelo loaned out. Broja never even play and might be third striker.

Honestly we never know wetin dem want really do, but them seem intent in buying an additional attacker 10/RW meaning left wing is covered Mudryk, Matseen (if he doesn't leave) and even Sterling. It can't be two, can only be one because these players will come back from loan especially Angelo

Kudus, Cherki, Olise all play RW (Franca too)
